“Mother Pigeon” is about Tina Piña, an artist, activist and pigeon devotee. It’s about nature, spirituality, and appreciating our animal neighbors in New York. My friend John's family has been in the same apartment since 1961. For the past 30 years, his father has been bringing objects from New York City down to his property in South Jersey. We explore the character that is Stephen Morris, his obsession with stories and objects, and the three generations of Morris men that have cycled through that same Stuytown apartment.

In Part Two, I try my best to park the car, John and I head to Forest Hills to witness placard abuse and corruption, we talk about Spiderman, and generally what it means to be from somewhere like New York.

My dad has been parking his car on the street in New York for 50 years. He shows me how to find a good spot, and how he keeps it with a little thing he likes to call "The Maneuver." From there on we explore the subway, spirituality, and bacteria in a petri dish.
