In Part 8 of our IN CHRIST series, Pastor Jon Purkey continues through Ephesians 2, challenging believers to stop identifying with the world and begin living as citizens of Heaven. Being IN CHRIST is more than a confession of faith. It's a com...

BUT GOD | IN CHRIST Part 5 — Ephesians 2:1–10 You weren't just broken. You weren't just struggling. You were dead. And dead people don't need behavior modification. Dead people need resurrection. In Part 5 of IN CHRIST: A Study Through Ephesians, Pastor Jon Purkey walks through Ephesians 2:1–10 and the radical truth of the gospel: we were dead in our sin, enslaved to what we obeyed, and unable to...

Knowing about Jesus and following Jesus are not the same thing. In this week’s IN CHRIST: A Study Through Ephesians, Pastor Jon continues through Ephesians 1 and asks a question every believer needs to wrestle with: Are you following Jesus—or have you simply learned how to say you believe? Real faith produces surrender. Real faith produces fruit. And when we belong to Christ, the Holy Spirit doesn...

Some of us are still trying to earn what Jesus already paid for. In Part 2 of In Christ, Pastor Jon Purkey continues through Ephesians 1 and reminds us that the Christian life doesn't begin with what we do for God. It begins with understanding what God has already done for us in Christ. Through Jesus, you have been redeemed. Your forgiveness was purchased by His blood. God's grace toward you isn't...

Fear has a voice—and if we aren’t careful, it can become the loudest voice in our lives. In this message from Numbers 13–14, we look at the twelve spies who saw the same land, the same giants, and the same obstacles, yet came back with completely different reports. Ten interpreted what they saw through fear. Joshua and Caleb interpreted it through faith. Faith doesn’t deny the giant. Faith remembe...

Spiritual Discipline Matters! There’s a difference between cleaning up your life and surrendering it completely to Jesus. In Luke 11:24–26, Jesus warns us about the danger of an empty house. Behavior modification may change what’s happening on the outside, but lasting transformation happens when we allow Christ to fill every area of our lives. Persistent prayer changes the locks on the doors of ou...

Be the one who returns. In Luke 17, Jesus healed ten lepers, but only one came back to thank Him. The miracle changed all ten lives, but gratitude marked only one heart. How often do we become so focused on the blessing that we forget the One who gave it? It's easy to celebrate the breakthrough while overlooking the Savior who made it possible. This message is a call to shift our focus from what w...

Entitlement is dangerous because most of us never believe we have it. It grows quietly when appreciation dies, when pride convinces us we are owed something, and when we forget that everything we have is a gift from God. The breath in our lungs is His. The life in our days is His. Every opportunity, every blessing, and every open door exists because of His grace. In this message, Pastor Jon Purkey...

God's presence is the answer. He is enough. In this powerful message, Pastor Jon Purkey reminds us that God has never been limited by human ability—only by our willingness to trust Him. Whatever fear, insecurity, failure, or doubt has been holding you back from pursuing God's call, His presence is greater. When you humble yourself before the Lord and surrender your plans to Him, He equips you to a...
