minuetoacademy 3Speak Podcast

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=minuetoacademy/cljkpbjn   After the last Olympic Games in Paris 2024, a certain French air is running swarming around the world, that is why this week I wanted to fly musically taking advantage of those winds - perhaps fleeting, I don't know - using the art of Yann Tiersen and his iconic piece "La valse d'Amélie".   From the accordion to the piano. The version I...

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=minuetoacademy/zyyzrgls   For this #19 edition I have prepared a piece that is undoubtedly part of the collective imagination worldwide; it is _Passacaglia_, a work composed by Johan Halvorsen (1864-1935), a Norwegian composer, conductor and violinist.   A curious fact is that the authorship of this work is often associated with another surname, and it is common...

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=minuetoacademy/kenixjck   Happy to be able to share my passion once again, in this week 18 of the Vibes Web3 Music Competition, I perform "He's a Pirate", a piece that is part of the soundtrack of the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean"; a composition by Klaus Badelt. ![pose.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/minuetoacademy/23y8jMRDXnraPwj1gPANtL25m3t9jriKmyJF...

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=minuetoacademy/wududjax https://youtu.be/QiZGM2Ajzho?si=_h47QW8XY45Jz-Fy   Roots week. In my case, going back to the roots means going back to Venezuelan music, specifically to the Venezuelan piano. That's why, for this release, I wanted to make a piano arrangement of the iconic song "Las bellas noches de Maiquetía", a waltz composed by Pedro Arcila Ponte.   The...

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=minuetoacademy/fckoeicv   I am excited. Two weeks ago I found out that this contest existed, and just today I had the opportunity to sit down and record. I am happy and motivated by everything that is happening here. The piece I'm playing on piano today is titled _Nobody Knows_ by the phenomenal Ludovico Einaudi. ![Imagen1.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive...

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=minuetoacademy/aoqelxrg   After several years of uploading content from my cell phone's unstable and slow internet, this week I was finally able to contract a fiber optic internet service. To my amazement, I was able to upload this video in 5 seconds, before it would have taken hours. I'm very happy. Testing my new connection, I watched videos on YouTube (which used...

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=minuetoacademy/qmeurqsz   In this second installment of "Musical Readings" I wanted to do something different. A few days ago, while searching for sheet music on the web, I almost accidentally found a beautiful arrangement of an iconic traditional Irish tune, it's "Danny Boy". ![Image1.png](https://steemitimages.com/250x250/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/min...

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=minuetoacademy/wnygtflq   Hello all music lovers! Today I want to start this series titled “Musical Reading”, in which I will share one or two musical works for keyboard (piano, organ or harpsichord) weekly in order to exercise myself and continue perfecting the art of sight reading. I am going to start with a short work by the German composer J. S Bach, it is the Fo...

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=minuetoacademy/yyjxqfld   Greetings to all in this week 178 of the "Hive Open Mic", in which I return to the piano to interpret a waltz by Yann Tiersen entitled _Dernière_ (last).   I have discovered this composer's music recently, before I had heard something from him but had not paid due attention. For me it has been a discovery and a delight to delve into his...

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=minuetoacademy/okxgkmfw   Greetings and blessings to all in this week 177 of the "Hive Open Mic". Today, stepping out of my comfort zone, I'm going to sing a French Christmas carol by _Nöel Suisse_ entitled "Open the Heavens".   This little song is a very beautiful praise to the Lord who, as the lyrics sing it, is our Redeemer and Savior. I want to tell you that...

In this week 176 I want to share a _song without words_ dedicated to "Gratitude"   In this work I try to reflect that despite difficult situations there is always something for which we can be thankful. The work has two key points that try to reflect what happens wh...

The theme proposed for this week #175, has a lot of meaning for me and inspired me to compose a small piece for piano that I wanted to title "Light of my soul".   With this festive piece I want to capture the joy I felt in my soul when the light of Jesus entered my hea...

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=minuetoacademy/oiavtmtt   Hello! I'm glad to be posting in this space again. This week's theme *"A Good Friend"*, made me think of those friends who are no longer here and are missed. Anyone who has experienced the loss of a good friend, either due to his physical disappearance or because he migrated to another country, knows that the feeling of loss or the void that...

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=minuetoacademy/rfbvxzyc #   On December 28 of last year, my family arrived from my beloved Barquisimeto to spend the end of the year. I hurriedly began to move several mattresses to condition the room where they were going to sleep. As I was going down the stairs I lost my balance and to prevent the mattress I was carrying from falling, I made a reflex movement and i...
