ONE WAY THAT NATURE DECORATES 26.10.2024 1:24
I love to see Nature in action. She collects the falling leaves and reuses them to decorate the evergreen trees for Halloween. I think of ways that people can reuse their stuff as well as their thoughts for positive results. Support the show
CLOUD GAZING 25.10.2024 1:12
A good way to refocus your mind is to first un-focus it. One way is to set your intentions for guidance to come to you and gaze at the clouds, taking a deep breath, and let your eyes go out of focus. Continue to breathe up from the ground and down from the sky with gratitude in your heart and focus on positivity. Support the show
A CONSTANT VIGIL 24.10.2024 2:15
The more improvements we make to the land, the more maintenance is required to keep ahead of Nature. We are on constant vigilance in our effort to be aware of what project to work on next. In Life, it is very important to be on constant vigilance to keep our soul nourished. Support the show
TIME FOR A MAKEOVER 23.10.2024 1:57
With the Ormond Gardens expanding it was time for a makeover of the Center, both outside and inside with new paint and a new bathroom. There is a post-covid movement taking place all over the world with people making over their lives to find more meaning. Support the show
FINISHING UP 22.10.2024 1:46
The day after I mowed the Orchard, our son finished up by mowing the Lupine Field. I was still stiff and lame from the day before and probably would have postponed the mowing, but it was important to finish the job. It is easy to give up in life, but that is the time to keep going. Support the show
THE LITTLE TRACTOR THAT COULD 21.10.2024 1:37
I wasn’t sure if I would be able to get the Orchard and Lupine Field mowed this fall after my Swisher mower broke down. I remember my favorite story as a child, “The little Engine that Could”, and decided to try my lawn tractor. It did the job!!! There is a lesson in this. Support the show
AS GOOD AS IT GETS 20.10.2024 1:20
I realized as I looked across the valley that the fall foliage was as good as it gets. I felt a wave of gratitude washing over me and settling in my heart. My goal is to have many life experiences every day in all conditions that are as good as it gets. Support the show
SOON TO BE A MEMORY 19.10.2024 1:27
The foliage is fading quickly and soon we will just be left to the memories of fall. Many will capture the beauty with a photo to help them remember. Others that do not pause to experience special moments in life will find them harder to recall as time goes on. Support the show
SAFETY ZONES 18.10.2024 1:36
The land at the Center is designated as a wildlife safety zone, and I wonder if the male turkeys that grub on our lawn realize that. In my mind, when people come together in a positive and peaceful manner to discuss differences in opinions, it is a safe zone, free from prejudices. Support the show
MAKING USE OF WHAT IS AVAILABLE 17.10.2024 1:46
The wind blew down a lot of dead and weak trees and limbs this past week, so we cut up the debris and lined the sides of the paths with them. In life we have many things, from physical to mental, that can be repurposed as we change and grow. Support the show
CLIMBING A MOUNTAIN 16.10.2024 1:47
Years ago I learned that if I stopped to rest when climbing a mountain, it was hard to start again, so I just went one step at a time until I reached the summit. Sometimes in life the big goal seems insurmountable. One little goal at a time helps us reach the big one. Support the show
THE LEAVES ARE FALLING 15.10.2024 1:33
Now that the foliage is passing its peak, the leaves are falling from the trees and covering the ground. It is a “crunchy” time of year. October weather has many different moods. In life, our positive hearts can help us navigate through all the changes as we crunch the leaves. Support the show
A MOMENT OF ZEN 14.10.2024 1:12
My son loves to visit the Mountain to experience a moment of Zen, and then he often posts a photo of the view. To me a moment of Zen is the opportunity to experience a relaxed state when the intuitive mind is active. My state of Zen is in Nature. Support the show
I CAN SEE THE ICE AGE 13.10.2024 1:56
When my grandson was young, we took a fall walk to the Lupine Field and he pointed wide-eyed across the valley to snow-covered Mt. Washington and said, “I can see the ice age.” I saw it the other day and knew that winter is on its way. Life has many changes to it. Support the show
YOU NEVER KNOW 12.10.2024 1:28
Recently I spotted a woodpecker on the old maple outside our window. I had never seen that variety in over fifty years of living here. I believe it is a red bellied woodpecker. Every day I set my intentions to discover life again as I never know what the next mystery might be. Support the show
TRANSPLANTING 11.10.2024 2:15
I recently transplanted some wild asters from the Lupine Field to the Ormond Gardens at the Center. I thought of how this Nation has accepted millions of transplants over the years who have helped build it in many positive ways. Support the show
DAY BY DAY 10.10.2024 1:24
The fall foliage colors are changing day by day here in the mountains, and it won’t be long before the leaves will be gone from the trees. It is often hard to achieve big goals in life because they seem so overwhelming. The secret is to create small day by day positive goals leading to a larger one. Support the show
THE LOVING SIDE OF NATURE 09.10.2024 1:11
Besides a violent side with strong storms that reshape the landscape, Nature has a loving side like the small red heart-shaped leaf that caused me to pause and smile. That beautiful moment filled my heart with gratitude to share. Support the show
WAITING FOR A DELIVERY 08.10.2024 1:45
As a joke, I placed an old mailbox near the Cabin, knowing the mail is not delivered there. I think of people that spend their time waiting for something they wanted to be manifested, often giving up before the delivery is made. The Source has its own delivery schedule. Support the show
SKELETONS IN THE WOODS 07.10.2024 1:38
As Halloween approaches, the gremlins are making their presence known. I am now finding just “skin and bone” leaf skeletons in the woods. Nature is closing its growing season. Some people, like the leaves, seem to have lost their purpose. Fortunately, they can grow again in any season. Support the show
ANOTHER REASON TO CELEBRATE THE FALL 06.10.2024 1:36
Another reason I celebrate the fall is the red berries on the holly-like winter bushes that brighten up the landscape. Actually, I look for something positive to celebrate every day of the year. My intention is to share that gratitude with others. Support the show
I WONDER 05.10.2024 1:32
I must admit: I wonder a lot, especially about the yet unsolved mysteries of life; such as bigfoot, ghosts, spirits, and Nature’s grand design for life. I wondered, when I spotted a leaf that looked like it had an image of an upright figure, if it was impression of something more. Support the show
NATURE'S BIG SHOW 04.10.2024 1:27
Many people consider Nature’s biggest show of the year to be fall foliage. Some people just like to watch shows while others like to be in them. I like to watch the colors of fall spread from my windows and by going for a walk in Nature. Support the show
TIME TO WEAR A HARD HAT IN THE WOODS 03.10.2024 1:37
I don’t know if you have ever been for a walk in the woods when the oak trees are releasing acorns, but they often sound like rocks being thrown. In life we often feel like we want to wear a hard hat to protect ourselves from negativity. Support the show
MY OCTOBER WORLD 02.10.2024 1:35
I look forward to experiencing October from the bench at the top edge of the Lupine Field. People have told us for years it is one of the most special places they have ever visited. I believe each of us has a special place to visit in person or in our minds all year long. Support the show
