Literary New Orleans is an in-depth look at the locally-written word over three centuries of history, based on the WYES PBS television documentary "Literary New Orleans," produced and hosted by Peggy Scott Laborde. Interviews included are with authors and literary scholars Walter Isaacson, T.R. Johnson, Maurice Carlos Ruffin, Dr. Kenneth Holditch and a rare interview with Thelma Toole, the mother of Pulitzer Prize winner John Kennedy Toole. This podcast is produced by WYES and made possible by the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities.
