IAG Performance Thursday Thing!

Every year we go and every year we have a great time. This year was no exception. It rained a bunch and we dealt with some awful traffic but we also hung with great people, saw some insane cars, and still managed to get in some spiritual levels of driving.

Last week we got to test our upcoming VB WRX oil pan at Summit Point. Learn about our test process and from OTHER issues we uncovered while testing. IF YOU OWN A VB LISTEN TO THIS ONE!

With Boxerfest coming up this weekend (when this was recorded) we wanted to chat about what WE would love to see out of a Subaru event in the future. What would our "Dream Event" look like PLUS what are some things we would like to see at some of the Subaru events that already exist? What would YOU like to see at the Subaru events? Let us know in the comments!

It seeeeeeeeeems that Subaru might be giving us a new WRX hatch before we get an STI but...will it be enough? Also a shop in Canada did it themselves and honestly...we're kind of hyped for it now! Plus a TON of listener questions answered in another "ASK DEWEY" segment!

JDM Subarus are easier to get now than ever but...what is it like to own? What are some of the pitfalls? Should you just swap or buy the real deal? We talk to Dewey's brother Joey about his recent purchase of a 1995 V.3 STI Wagon and what he's learned, dealt with, and worries he has for the future. Would you consider a JDM Subaru and why? Leave a comment!

GET READY TO FEEL OLD! The Gen Z Subaru Enthusiast has been an enigma to lots of this industry. What makes them tick? What influenced them? How did they end up in cars that in many cases are older than they are? We have 4 Gen Z Subaru enthusiasts on, all with different cars from different backgrounds, and different influences and what they have to say on a lot of these topics might REALLY surprise...

Well..."you can't win em all" they say. That hasn't stopped us though. Boogey picked up a bunch of extra jam and Dewey wasn't ready lol. Hear the tale and some good Q&A at the end!

Warranty is back so we gotta catch up on all the Subaru news...and some! There is something for everyone in this episode! Mt Washington, Subaru financing, The Fast and the Furious, and more!

Nick is back and were talking about the Subimods Subaru Corral, how his voyage into Time Attack is going, and we do a list of our Top 5 favorite Subaru Time Attack cars ever (where I go on a massive tangent and name a TON more). Good times!!!

3 ships in 4 years and our 9th win in a row ain't a bad end to the weekend but fate did everything it could to fight us on this one folks! This was NOT a walk in the park. Just getting there was hell LOL. Gather around while we tell you a tale about Gridlife Summer Apex at Watkins Glen 2026!

Ever dream about going to Goodwood Festival of Speed? Well Randy said "dreaming isn't enough" and did it for real! Hear all about it from the lens of a true Subaru enthusiest!

Mike...I mean Mark, is back having just recently went on a trip with Tanner from Smeedia (who also drops in to say "Hi" this podcast) to right the wrong that Donut did in their "Hi/Lo" series with WRXs by helping them swap "Hi car" into a GF wagon! Good times overall!

Nothing says "Freedom" more than being able to talk about whatever you want! It's the return of "Ask Dewey" where we talk about all sorts of topics ranging from "totally nonsense" to "highly informative". We also have a guest who FINALLY listed and had some great results due to it! CHECK IT OUT!

Remember when the news was all doom and gloom from Subaru? Those days are GONE. We can't even keep up with all the insanity coming out of the brand these days! Are we about to come into a whole new golden era for being a Subaru enthusiast? Let us know in the comments!

That was a WILD couple of weeks! Wicked Big Meet and Gridlife Midwest Fest, what might be the biggest two events we do this year, all within a week of each other! There is a LOT in this episode so grab a snack! Be sure to leave a comment!

Do you need a K swap to go fast in a 1st gen BRZ? No. Jerami Bailey is proving it. Dewey and Jerami talk about swapping the car, what it takes to get it competitive in Gridlife Club TR, and walk down memory lane a bit.

Times is tough. This week we talk about options you have as an enthusiast to scratch that itch while still pinching pennies. Then in the end we go off on all sorts of things in the end. Dewey gets pretty heated on modern Subaru sizing lol.

WARRANTY IS BACK!!! We catch up on all the news from the past few months including Subaru's new love and success in their racing programs, CAFE standards and how they totally screw us, and a pile of other topics! Let's go!!!!

The Gridlife season is starting off positive to say the least. We talk about all things Team Boogeyman and Gridlife Road America. Hint...it went pretty dang great! Also we chat about an alarming amount of OEM 2.5L cranks failing as of late. What is does Dewey think? Should you be alarmed?

Rallysport Direct was once THE FIRST spot you would check for your Subaru parts. Over the past years a lot has changed though. Now though, new owners have came in, hired enthusiasts like their new COO Jeff Foster and they are relaunching the once great brand. We dig into the plan, what worked back in the day and what needs to happen to bring it back to it's former glory!

Gridlife CMP was insane! Find out how all the new goodies and changes to the car equated to Boogey going faster than we ever thought possible!

We have a pile of short topics in this one plus where Boogey sits one week out of Gridlife Round 1 at CMP! Come catch up with us!

Steve Kaminski from XClutch joins us to talk about clutches, the industry as a whole, and figuring out what clutch you need...and what you don't. There is also some good car guy life lessons in here and just good vibes. This one was kind of all over the place but there is a LOT of great info in here!

This one went all over but that makes it fun. Topics include "how do you become an IAG Certified Engine Installer?" "What are your other hobbies?" "Most fun car you have owned?" and "What is the best path for tuning your suspension on the car". ALL THIS AND MUCH MORE! (Seriously we went all over)

Dewey and Warranty have a great discussion about media that pushed them into the Subaru community. Lot's of talk of Gran Turismo, Best Motoring, WRC rally on Speed channel, and a bunch of other stuff. Fun episode and a total nostalgia trip.
