Goin’ Down To South Park

Even if you're bummin' on cancer, there's always hope when you check out our review of "Stanley's Cup", a hilarious parody of underdog sports films like The Mighty Ducks and BASEketball, and the perfect way to cap off another stellar season of the show. We discuss the careers of The Mighty Ducks cast, the unacceptable price of council fines, our favourite South Park voices, Dando's terrifying tale...

Guy and Dando head 500 years into the future to review South Park’s “Go God Go XII” - the conclusion to Cartman’s desperate, cryogenic quest to skip the wait for a Nintendo Wii. They unpack the episode’s gloriously ridiculous atheist factions, the brilliant future-world nonsense, sea otters, Cartman’s all-consuming impatience, and whether this two-parter sticks the landing. Along the way, they als...

Cartman only has to wait three weeks for the Nintendo Wii, so naturally, he decides freezing himself is the sensible option. What could possibly go wrong? Dando and Guy take a break from pounding monkey holes to revisit “Go God Go”, an episode packed with impatient Cartman, Mrs. Garrison’s war on evolution, an unlikely romance with Richard Dawkins and a distant future where atheism has somehow mad...

It's time for Satan's "Super Sweet 16" Halloween Party, where everyone is invited, unless they dress as The Crow. Meanwhile, the boys learn there's a price to pay when you summon Biggie Smalls. We discuss THAT Steve Irwin joke and whether or not it was too soon, our favourite Halloween legends, Guy's limited knowledge of Biggie Smalls and more. This week's episode can only be described with one work... NICEEEEEE! When Ike forms a sexual relationship with his teacher Miss Stevenson, Kyle starts a crusade to have her arrested. The only problem being that she's hot. Meanwhile, Cartman becomes the school's hall monitor and channels his inner Dog the Bounty Hunter. We discuss the relevance of this story 20 years later, what Jimmy would be lik...

This week we laid a few fudge dragons as we revisited this conspiracy thriller, which sees Cartman find a link between a mud monkey in a urinal and the truth behind 9/11. A fun, if not confusing episode that parodies the absurdity of conspiracy theories and those who choose to believe them. We also discuss the Hardy Boyz, Guy's favourite variants as a kid, LISTEN on Spotify - spoti.fi/4fzFQbj LIST...

Regardless of whether you play World Of Warcraft or Hello Kitty Island Adventure, there's no denying that this is one of the greatest South Park episodes of all time. A loving tribute, as well as a spot-on piss-take of the life of an RPG gamer, this episode is perfectly (war)crafted to showcase the pros and cons of such a lifestyle. We discuss why Parker wasn't a fan of the episode, some first-han...

This week we demonstrate our dominance by revisiting "Tsst", an episode where The Dog Whiiiiisssperer, Cesar Milan, attempts to put Cartman in his place. A really fun parody of reality TV, but also a great character exploration of Liane, and why she's so accepting of Cartman's behaviour. We also discuss how terrifying The Dark Crystal is for kids, Guy's infatuation with Supernanny Jo Frost, why we...

We are super cereal that this week's podcast will one day save the world, then you'll all say "thanks Guy and Dando, you're super awesome!" Seriously though, this episode is pretty awkward in retrospect. A complete takedown of Al Gore's crusade on global warming, which when viewed through a 2026 lens, leaves Parker and Stone with a rare "L". Podcasters need stimulation too, ya bastards! Well, there's plenty of stimulation to be had with our review of "A Million Little Fibers", a pretty average "South Park" episode, but certainly a funny journey which sees Towelie write a successful book and Oprah's "minge" decide it's had enough of being neglected. Simpsons and South Park...together at last! Although we've had "Simpsons Already Did It", this is the closest we've ever come to a true South Park / Simpsons crossover, as Cartman learns the secrets of the Family Guy writing team and tries to have the show cancelled forever. We discuss how this could have easily become another South Park movie, Parker and Stone acknowledgiing their own writing flo...

Our review of "Cartoon Wars" has arrived, and if you think that's bad, well, too bad! One of the all-time classic South Park episodes that really pointed the finger at Family Guy, at a time when nobody else was willing to. We discuss the history that lead to the episode, why it was delayed and expanded to a two-part story, the response from others in the animated television community and more. LIS...

We like to see this podcast as part of the solution and not the problem...thannnnnnkkkkksss! This is certainly an episode for anyone who likes the smell of their own farts (who among us?), which sees the Broflovski family move to San Francisco after buying a hybrid car. Unfortunately all of the smugness from the city is causing chaos around the world. We also discuss George Clooney's hilarious cam...

Chef is back! Well, kinda. One of the more memorable episodes of South Park that sees Chef meet his brutal demise after joining the Super Adventurer's Club, a direct response from Parker and Stone after hearing Isaac Hayes' (apparent) negative comments about the show's stance on scientology. Was it disrespectful or deserved? We discuss all this, the legacy of Chef, his impact on the success of the...

That's another season of South Park in the can. We run through what we each considered to be the best and worst episodes, as well as the overall thoughts on a season that packed a solid blend of classic South Park moments. Recording this review took a lot of discipline, but listening to it won't! It's the season finale and whilst Parker and Stone don't necessarily go out with a "bang", they certainly saved their biggest controversy to last. A fun story that sees a local Virgin Mary statue start bleeding (out of where? Tune in to find out), so people turn to her for a miracle, including Randy who has recently been di...

Postman Butters has returned again with a bunch of your questions, so we delve deep into topics such as whether or not South Park is offensive, the evolution of Parker and Stone's storytelling, the most misunderstood characters and more. As a lifelong Free Willy fan, Dando was certainly a fan of this episode. However, what he didn't realise was that not only was this a parody of the film, but also seemingly a spin on the dark truth behind the tragic real-life story of Keiko, the orca from the film. Safe to say, we learned something today. We also discuss the trauma of childhood films, Lance Bass' failed attempt at space travel, TH...

Listeners, Tom Cruise won't come out of the closet! That's right, this week we take a trip back to a time where everybody was desperate for Ethan Hunt to finally complete his mission of coming out of the closet. Here he gets the help of his pal John Travolta (OH MY GOD!) and R. Kelly (yikes!) Meanwhile, Stan becomes the new leader of Scientology. A real "you had to be there" episode that doesn't e...

"Red Power!" That's the message of the week as we tackle 'Ginger Kids', a pretty controversial episode of the series in hindsight. It's also a great showcase for Cartman's ability to manipulate just about anyone for his own gain. We discuss whether Parker and Stone crossed the line with their "ginger hate", Parker marrying a Japanese woman to avoid the ginger gene, Disney's weird fascination with...

Safe to say, Dando was very disappointed that this wasn't a parody of the 1985 classic Follow That Bird, still, we got an absolutely hilarious episode that answers the age-old question; should gays be allowed to get married? Well, Mrs. Garrison certianly thinks not, but thankfully the town of South Park doesn't agree with her. We also discuss the life and death of Dando's tamagotchi, Guy's hatred...

It's our first mailbag of 2026 and we kick things off by delving into that time Seinfeld was offended by South Park, which characters we think are living their best lives, what would happen if South Park did an "Australia" episode, South Park on Fortnite and much more. This podcast is for anyone who likes dancing, ponies, and, uh, well... having fun on a Friday night. That's right, this week we're reviewing the episode where Butters fakes his death and dresses as a girl in order to steal a device that can tell the future. Meanwhile, in an attempt to bring his son back from the dead, Butters' father digs up what he thinks is his corpse and puts it in an Indian bu...

Although the people of South Park "didn't listen", we hope you certainly listen to this week's deep-dive into Parker and Stone's love-letter to disaster movies, in particular Roland Emmerich's The Day After Tomorrow. We discuss Parker and Stone's original plan for the episode, the state of news reporting, Cartman's pursuit of "Jew gold" and more. LISTEN on Spotify - spoti.fi/4fzFQbj LISTEN on Appl...

This week's show is filled with broken dreams and no ice-creams, but thankfully there are plenty of laughs because it's a Jimmy episode! Jimmy's innocent search for a vagina before the talent show is absolutely top-tier, plus his uncontrollable stiffys are something that all us once horny teens can relate to. We also discuss peeing with your pants down, unexpected sex pests, Officer Barbardy's wei...
