Just my raw opinion, but I think a lot of POC move through spaces that were never socially built to accept us like they’re automatically safe. We call people “friend” way too quickly, trust way too easily, and sometimes we don’t pay attention to what’s happening right in front of us. That’s a problem. 🙄
