Hayley Williams released the album version of the 17 singles she dropped last month, but more importantly (because we're out of touch), apparently she and Paramore guitarist Taylor York broke up. We're understandably concerned about what that means for the future of one of our favorite bands.

We throw all the rules out the window and review this brand new album from blink-182. It's basically a track-by-track "first impressions" episode (although we somehow skipped track 10 -apologies). Earmuffs, for obvious reasons.

This album turned twenty this year, and it was really such a weird genre bending and impossible-to-label thing that we decided "sure, it's emo enough!". After all, it has Ben Gibbard on it, right? After the disappointing follow up to Something To Write Home About (at least for us), we truly needed this record. Some of us might even think it's The Get Up Kids at their best. Maybe. You'll have to listen to find out.

Was Tom's side project the beginning of the end of blink-182? (and then another beginning...and another end of the oh jeez this is so convoluted).
