We all know self care is important, especially when life is so crazy and busy all the time. Do you ever feel like taking time for you is so forced that you don’t actually enjoy it? This weekend Fick and Foust returned to the theater for a new season, which kicked off with Mrs. Doubtfire. Tune in this week as share our thoughts on the performance and much needed R&R.

We’re both recovering this week from our own body cleanses. What this week taught us was take care of yourself. Easier said than done (trust us we know!), and unfortunately sometimes our body goes to extreme measures to tell us to slow down. How are you going to take care of yourself this week?

As we mark the official, unofficial end of summer we are looking back at how weird this summer actually was and how we made the best of un-summer. What were your favorite memories? It’s that time of year again! How often do you purge all the sh*t in your house? If we could have a dumpster and go throw away all the things we probably would. But instead we are sorting and scrubbing our way through our houses on this never ending journey to organize all the things. Join us as we discuss what we hate, love and mostly hate about the process.

What is something you hate, but have to do, and know nothing about? Pretty sure you said taxes, too. With just over a month to go before tax season ends, we’re getting our paperwork in order. And to celebrate when we’re done, we’re going to Costco for reams of paper, sweatpants, mega muffins and an umbrella!

The last day of February is always Rare Disease Day because it is the rarest day of the year. For reasons very dear to us, we are raising awareness for the 300 million people around the world living with a rare disease.

Our first weight loss challenge in about 2 years and we just don’t know how to feel about it yet. We’re already starting week 3, doing homework and setting goals to keep us going. But, just as everything lately, it’s hard! What goals have you set recently?
