Yet another impromptu message of the Lord that hit us where we need to be. This AM session was supposed to be devotional, but turned into a 30-minute gut-punch of a preaching session

God's Spirit moved JR's Tuesday AM message to the PM session to get us to focus our hearts on stepping out to those who need the gospel. God did NOT disappoint with this move!

The first 13 minutes are student evangelism testimonies from this past Memorial Day. Afterwards, we hear from Kendall Orock & Peyton Wengerd as they share their dating testimony: how God led them to a relationship, what they each noticed in the other prior to dating, and guidelines they keep to protect themselves & each other while dating.

We conclude the lecture portion of our study on Biblical Relationships by looking at the roles of a husband and wife. Fulfilling these roles helps us to fulfill the mission of why we were put on this earth ( Gen. 1:26-28; 2:18-25; Jn. 15:8, 16; Mt. 28:18-20 ).

We know what NOT to do while in a dating relationship , but what should we focus on? What should be the core of what we do when we're in a relationship? Does mankind's need for the gospel and our participation in the Great Commission change when we start dating? NO! Therefore, a dating relationship should further the gospel, not hinder it.

Today, we look at the cause of all of Israel's problems in the Book of Judges. Though, at first glance it doesn't appear that way due to the victory they had on the mountain! But that's the essence of Laodicea: we can be so caught up on our victories that we miss where it counts the most - in the valley.
