Mitch and Pat hop on the mics after watching basketball greatness. It's a gut-punch loss as it pushes the Timberwolves season to the brink - but the good news: It's not over yet. Down 3-2 in the series and returning home with the chance to force a game seven.

Mitch and Pat are back to talk about game 4 - a clash of two MVP-level players and superstar performances. Unfortuantely for the Wolves, the rest of the supporting cast didn't show up while Denver's role players had a historical night. Series is now evened up - best of three. Anthony Edwards entered the avatar state, Karl-Anthony Towns played had one of his best performances of his career, and not even "The Extender" himself, Scott Foster, could hold this Timberwolves team back.

A mature, and dominant road performance from the Timberwolves leave them on the precipice of a series sweep. Wolves were dominant with their size, went on another 3rd quarter run, and then Anthony Edwards poured water over the flames of any lingering hope that Suns had that they could get back in it. 3-0. The Timberwolves went into Phoenix on Friday night and gave their worst offensive effort of the season. Mitch and Pat argue about whether it was more about Phoenix or just self-inflicted wounds. Still first place in the West, but the road gauntlet continues with the LA Lakers on Sunday.

Only six games left in the regular season, and following back-to-back wins over the Houston Rockets and Toronto Raptors, the Minnesota Timberwolves are back in first place! Mitch and Pat hand out their normal awards and spend some time ranking the teams they most (and least) want to see in a first round matchup.

Mitch is back! Unfortunately... the Wolves weren't tonight. A shooting aberation game for both teams (Chicago on the very positive side of that, Minnesota on the negative) leads to a close loss at home to a sub .500 team. It's the NBA, these games happen. But it does knock the Wolves into 3rd place in the West with eight to go. Hold onto your butts.
