Dion's Daily Dose

Mayor Duane Parry got hot mic'd (actually voice mail didn't hang up first) and said something he shouldn't have. Is it enough to demand his resignation? Weigh in and tell me what you think. Pepe LePew is the latest victim of cancel culture. One thing that's really funny I'll talk about during the show... Finally done with the project of running this ether cable. It shouldn't have been as big of a...

Diversity Training. Seriously? That's the solution imposed on the rest of the city by Mayor Parry's 'hot mic' moment. Ugh. Where's the eye roll emoji? We have a completely new leadership here in LaPorte County for the Republican Party. Apparently Porter County does as well! I'll talk about that and more. Just a quick update about what's been going on the past week. Finally got the internet sorted.. What a ridiculously complicated thing. There was evidence of critters in the attic. We called a pest control company (McCoy Wildlife) and I'll tell you how that went. The wife and I went out to eat for our anniversary. We went to Gino's Prime and Surf in Dyer and it was disappointing. I'll fill you in....

I was finally able to link my channel Twitter (@DionsDailyDose) to my streams and I almost got LinkedIn to work (Dion Bergeron) I wonder how long until this Twitter account gets suspended as well... You can catch my show on a number of locations now. I'll fill you in on all the particulars. I was going to try trimming up the channels to combine them but Facebook sucks and it just isn't working out...

We've been programmed to believe that evil is ugly. From science fiction (Star Wars Sith, anyone?) to the caricatures of the devil on popular movies (horns and red skin? Really?) we've been shown evil as this ugly and monstrous thing that is easily spotted and easily avoided. The truth is far more insidious. In other news... I've put almost 300 miles on my bike since I got it just practicing in th...

Hammond Mayor Thomas McDermott Jr. is mad about a flag in Hammond that has some profanity on it. He is targeting the homeowner with code enforcement. He publicly stated such. Supporters of the man have organized a parade to show support. Pretty straightforward but that's not the end of the story. According to an article I'll share with you McDermott has reached out to BLM and ANTIFA to organize a...

I attended the 1st Annual Mackinaw City Motorcycle Rally. Quite an experience. I went with a great group of people and thousands attended. Some were amusing. Some entertaining. Some didn't come home. I'll tell you all about the trip and will quickly fill you in on what's going on and my next few videos tonight. Let's talk about masks. Regardless of your stance on them there are some valid medical exemptions from wearing them. A man has brought a case against multiple airlines because they have no exemption policy. I'll talk about this, video coming out of Cuba where people have had enough of the regime, and Psaki's message to businesses urging them to require vaccination as a condition of employment. As...

Yesterday the Michigan City Area School Board held a meeting to inform the public about their plans for the school year regarding the CDC recommendations. There are a couple of things that stood out in that meeting that I want to talk to you about. Another big issue, especially here, is that there is a huge issue unfolding with the La Porte County Commissioners and the County attorney. It's gone f...

Today there was a meeting held at Ivy Tech in Valparaiso. This meeting was for public comment regarding the upcoming redistricting that will be occurring due to the updated census data. I took copious notes at this meeting and believe that I captured the essence of what people were saying, though likely not their exact words in most cases. If you'd like to see the full video, it's out there, thoug...

We've been told by everyone that the Delta variant is responsible for the rise in numbers they're using to justify harsher lockdowns in some areas, and for the big push for mandatory shots. How do they know which strain it is and how is that testing done? I decided to find out. Join me on this enlightening journey. Very interesting to say the least. I'm working on an upcoming series about training...

After trying to keep my son in public school we made the decision to home school him because of several factors. I'll fill you in. There have been some concerning videos and reports about farmers being paid to destroy crops. I'll show you some videos I've seen. I can't speak to whether this is accurate or not. What it did do though is speed up an idea. I want to buy directly from local farmers. Cu...

We have a very special guest tonight: La Porte County Commissioner Vice President Joe Haney. He'll be joining us to talk about the real story behind some current events that have been reported on, including the Michigan City Bridge project, allegations that the Commissioner's attorney has been ghost writing emails for county employees, and much more. There have been lots of rumors flying around an...

Biden has stated that all businesses over 100 employees must require the shot. Which shot? Only one is FDA approved for anything other than Emergency Use. I think that's important. It's also interesting that the shot isn't required for people streaming over the border. I did a little digging today and it is disturbing at how much money big pharma spends in our elections. From the President to loca...

Here in La Porte County, Indiana, there were some very important positions that we were able to secure, and we'll talk about that and much more! From your Congressional Representative and US Senator to your local township trustee and board. What do all these people do? Most of them, we have a general idea of what they do. Congress and US Senate we often hear a lot about. Others, not so much. State Senators, State Representatives, Prose...

On Monday, April 18th, 2022 #DionsDailyDose will have a very special guest. Chief Deputy Ron Heeg will be appearing on the show to tell us why we should vote for him for La Porte County Sheriff. 4.23.22 Special Guest: Colonel Richard Ligon: Candidate for Lake County Sheriff County Sheriff is a critical race. It's arguably the single most important elected position in a county, and is our last defense from an overreaching state and federal government. It's imperative that we vet these candidates. In an effort to do just that, as a part of our Candid Candidate Conversations series, I sit do...
