Dion's Daily Dose

Dion's Daily Dose welcomes Orion, Dion's 17 year-old son, to talk about how his views have changed over the years, how the media has played a part, and what the constant bombardment of click bait headlines have done to shape the narrative for him. With social media being always there and acting as a publisher rather than a platform, they control the flow of information. How has that shaped his vie...

For Mother's Day 2020 I'll talk about my mom, Lynda, and other major female role models in my life. I considered taking today off, but I'll explain why I didn't during the video. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms, stepmoms, foster moms, and adopted moms (legally or otherwise). Today's just a hang out session. Join Dion and Jim as they discuss life, liberty, local happenings, and more. Jim Orrell and Dion Bergeron have known each other since 7th grade and Jim has agreed to come on the show and say hi. The thumbnail is my new flag that I got for Law Day, May 1st and is flying outside my home. The hearts in the window were Liz's idea and is in response to #HeartHunters. No...

Dion's Daily Dose for Monday 4.27 is a special event. Ralph Calhoun, former C.O. and current steel mill worker, will be here with us and will be asking Dion Bergeron hard hitting and point blank questions. Ralph hasn't provided ANY of the questions beforehand, so we don't know what will be asked. He does say that it will be interesting and these are questions that he wants answered from both a law...

We'll cover more information about the district & the traditional left lean, reaching the youth, and the disparity between the organizations here. Why does the Republican party consider Indiana's 1st District a throwaway? Why don't they believe it's worth fighting for? We'll also do a deeper dive into policy differences between candidates on the Republican side. Follow Dion’s Daily Dose on Soc...

Dion Bergeron welcomes Delano Scaife to #DDD (for real this time, Mr. Scaife says). He forgot which day we agreed on, so we're going to allow him to come on on Sunday instead of Saturday. They'll discuss campaigning challenges in the age of social distancing, the upcoming primary, and political divides. It isn't a debate (as previously stated), just a friendly conversation and an opportunity to se...

Dion's Daily Dose will feature a special guest: Delano Scaife will join us to talk about his campaign, how he is adjusting to the social distancing rules, and what his plans are. This is not a debate. We hope to have some of those in the near future, but this is just a friendly conversation between two people that happen to be running for the same position: Republican Nominee for District 1. Follo...

Joe Haney is running for LaPorte County Commissioner (District 3) and he'll be joining us tonight. We'll talk about campaigning in the age of social distancing, his plans if he wins, and what ideas he brings to the office. Joe Haney was right by the #DionForCongress team in Michigan City's St. Patrick's Day Parade. Some of you may have met him and shook his hand. This will be a better chance to he...

On Friday the 24th, Dion will cover his wall chart on SpyGate, giving you a step by step synopsis of how this Impeachment started, where the intel came from, and who was behind it. Most of you probably know this information by now, but for those who don't, there were some ridiculously shady connections, bias, and outright lies. We'll go step by step and show who leads to what and how. We'll also c...

Tonight's #DionsDailyDose will focus on the differences in the Republican candidates, their policies, realistic projections moving forward, why you should vote #DionForCongress, and answering questions that have been asked via email. Labor is a strong component in NWI, and the belief that you must be pro-labor or pro-business and that the two are mutually exclusive gets examined. Right To Work law...

I took a bit of a longer break than I planned but I'm back and we'll be talking about the plans for this year. What can we do? What should we do? How can we create change in our neighborhoods, towns, and beyond? I had a good holiday and I hope you did as well. I'll be talking about the future of the channel and where we'd like to go with it. I hope you're able to join me because with the new year...

If you don't like how Facebook and Twitter censor conservatives, you should just find another platform, right? That's what we've been told and so they did. That's not good enough of course. Now they want these alternative platforms censored and silenced as well. Is anyone remotely surprised? Oh, and let's not forget about the lists. You voted for Trump? You're an enabler and we're coming for you....

1.10.21 #DionsDailyDose We'll dig through some of the Wikileaks dump, talk about the blatant hypocrisy of both the left and the right, and I'll tell you why I wasn't on last night. Ugh. 😂 Also, I've been suspended on Twitter again. I haven't even posted anything! 🙄 Are you tired yet? Let's have some fun tonight. Cancel culture is in full overdrive now. They're coming for conservatives that were in Washington DC when the capitol building was breached, whether they were involved or not. This is just the beginning. Parler's situation is bad and worse than is being reported. I know tonight's video is later than usual. It's worth the wait. I want to share some things with you that you may not be aware of. It i...

There are some changes coming for the channel, some planned and some because there isn't much choice. With the widespread censorship happening now, there are some things we're looking to do. I'll fill you in. My longtime companion and buddy PBK passed away. Some of you may remember him lounging on the back of my chair during some of my shows. It turns out that there's an app that will tell you whe...

The new administration brings a lot of questions. Government run healthcare has been touted as the answer to so many problems. Is it? We'll look at it in-depth and talk about what something like Medicare For All would actually mean. One word- Control. Join me tonight to weigh in on your take on this controversial subject. You have to see this to believe it. A lot of focus is on DC and the federal government (for good reason). Not much is being reported locally despite a whole lot going on. This is going to be an ongoing series because there is so much to cover. Sad isn't it? Episode 1- LaPorte County Commissioner -Joe Haney is shown that honesty will not be tolerated- It has been the custom for incoming Commissione...

The name really says it all. I'll share some interesting examples of the title and I also want to share a song with you. I'll evaluate it so it's covered under "Fair Usage". Hypocrisy: "Citizens United is Bad!" but PACs to defund the police are fine.... Hate: CNN ratings plummet because there isn't enough "Orange Man Bad" Hard Lessons: #BidenLied trending... I know, shocker isn't it? Follow Dion’s...

My anniversary is coming up. The wife and I have been discussing where to go and what to do and I figured I'd give you guys and gals a chance to weigh in. What's your fondest anniversary memory? Where did you go that really sticks out? I'm going to be rebranding the channel soon. I'd kind of like to keep the #DDD theme but I'm struggling a bit with new names. I'll go through some of the ones that...

It was brought to my attention that a lot of my news isn't fun or feel good stories. Hard to argue with that. It hasn't really been a good news kind of feel for a while. Tonight is my answer to that. I've compiled a list of positive articles and feel-good stuff for you. You'll have to tune in to learn more. Don't worry, it will be #WorthIt Happy vibes tonight! You may have heard about what happened at ISP. It's been all over the news lately. I'll talk about that briefly but what I really want to do is tell people what working there was really like. Most people can never understand what working in a maximum security prison is all about unless you've done it. Tune in to learn what most will never know. Like always, I'll have a few interesting stories for...

Many times in the past I've found myself pausing for words because as a former truck driver and Correctional Officer I may have a bit of a colorful vocabulary. Especially when running for office it's important to maintain a certain decorum. Tonight I'm just going to be me. No censoring, no catching myself. No altering my language. I won't be intentionally crude or anything but it's time for real t...
