After a brief conversation with Mister Witch and Mister Light, Burly pulls the party aside to advocate for them pressuring the owners by lifting Mister Witch's pocket watch, forcing them to answer their questions if they want it back. Serena, Dusk, and Eira reunite with their childhood friend Banjjak, who now works for the Witchlight Carnival. They are joined by Muriel, who also works for the carnival. The group partakes of several of the carnival attractions, including getting their fortunes read by Auntie Edna, rescuing a carnivalgoer on the dragonfly ride, and gaining some knowledge from the unicorns on the carousel.
