December has been very healthy in terms of releases as we’ve seen releases from Kaleem Taylor, SZA, Che Ecru, Little Simz and Headie One. We finally got round to listening to Metro Boomin’s “Heroes & Villains” as well as Jammz’ “Pink Lemonade”. Plenty more covered so we hope you enjoy!.

After a 3 year hiatus Stormzy has returned with “This Is What I Mean” and as expected we covered it thoroughly. Goya Gumbanii & Kiina have linked up again to give us “Face In The Storm” and we also saw releases from Yung Fume and Sam Wills.

It seems as though someone has a gripe or two…or three to get off his chest this week. This week we saw offerings from Jaz Karis, Busta Rhymes, Manga Saint Hilare, CLBRKS, Giggs, Roddy Rich, Brockhampton, Ray Vaughn & Baby Rose.

With drops from Nas/HitBoy, Roddy Rich, SZA and Rihanna....It's needless to say that this week was busy week in terms of music and as per we're here to talk about it. Lately we've been revisiting some of our favourite albums over the last decade which we discussed and Rebel recaps his time at "The Big Steppers" tour put on by none other than Kendrick Lamar, Baby Keem and Tanna Leone. 

With the change in how music is accessed and/or consumed it raised a discussion the relevance of the radio today and our relationship with it then and now. This week we got into new releases from Suspect, NBA Youngboy, Loyle Carner, Babyface, Sonder, Youngs Teflon & Smino.

This episode was one we had planned for some time as we had the man himself…Mush (How Many Mics) as our special guest. As agreed last episode we got into ranking Travis $cott albums from 1 to 3 and why which was good fun. That aside, we talked new music from Larry June, Adam Blackstone & Jazmine Sullivan, Black Soprano Family, Smoke DZA & Curren$y and Ramz. 

This week we saw Ari Lennox return with her highly anticipated album "Age/Sex/Location" which we got into along with releases from Grafh, Knucks and Bryson Tiller. While it was a bit of a quieter week for new music we did discover music from Laya, Quentin Miller and his group Wdng Crshrs. While we covered a lot of new releases we're now simply highlighting any music that is new to us regardless of when it was released as ultimately that's what this podcast is all about...Music. We were both considerably late to the sound that is Amapiano and have way more of it to discover but this week the genre was Rebel's go to for reasons we will not disclose. This week's episode was a little longer than usual due to two big albums dropping. Those being DJ Khaled's "God Did" and JID's "The Forever Story". We finally got round to covering Fee Gonzles' "Just Having Fun" project as well as releases from Tiny Boost, Headie One, Turner, BNXN, Young Adz and Vory. Rebel also ventured back to the 90s with Donald Byrd's "Blue Break Beats" album. 

With the release of Tink's "Pillow Talk" it sparked a discussion surrounding the state of R&B today following on from Diddy's recent statement. We also got releases from WSTRN, Che Ecru, Sango, $not, Moneybagg Yo, Tendy Hendrix and Internet Money. 

While we had some new releases from The Game's "Drillmatic: Heart vs Mind" and Dangermouse & Black Thought's "Cheat Codes", we both seemingly spent the week revisiting projects of the past. We also got round to some albums we missed from earlier in the year such as "Love Damini" from Burna Boy. 

This week was relatively slow in terms of big releases (well at least in our opinion) but we got into releases from Doechii, NBA YoungBoy, Kali Uchis, PJ Morton, Splash Brothers, Reason, IAMNOBODI and Skeng. Enjoy 

There was no way we could record this week's episode without covering The Queen B's return with "Renaissance". Although we were a little late with these two we got into M Huncho's "Chasing Euphoria" and Nafe Smallz "Legacy" which lead us down a path of discussing Wave music in the UK currently. 

We finally got blessed with the Devil Mix for Cammy Riddim from Blay Vision this week so expect Rebel to get into that on this episode. One of our long time favourites Joey Bada$$ dropped his highly anticipated "2000" album which we dived into. We also got releases from Lloyd Banks, A2, DVSN, and the CMG collective. 

After close to two months away from the pod, we're back with a lot to cover as we're sure you can imagine. A lot has happened and a lot of music has dropped in our unplanned hiatus so typically we'd brief you on what music was covered in this episode but it was quite a long one so make sure you listen from start to finish. We missed you and hope the feeling is mutual. 

We found ourselves almost repeating the same sentiment in review of the some of the projects we covered on this week's episode. We had releases from Jack Harlow, Knucks, Ella Mai, Kehlani, Raheem Devaughn and Future. Bia recruited J.Cole for the brilliantly shot "London" song/music video and we had to give an honourable mention to Unknown T. 

This week was undoubtedly Pusha T's week. Well for us anyway. For reasons neither of us care to go into, the timing of this release was interesting to say the least. We spent most of the last week taking in "It's Almost Dry" however we still got into releases from Bas, Gotti Major, Blxst, Vince Staples, Coi Leray, 42 Dugg & Est Gee. With the release of Dreamville’s “D-Day” mixtape it has caused Rebel to reconsider where he has them ranked it in the top Hip-Hop collectives/labels of our time. As expected there was a fair share of good music we came across from the likes of Knucks, Pusha T, Skillibeng, Mnelia, Chris Brown, Ella Mai plus more.
