With so much good music that we’ve been blessed with this year, we’d be lying if we said that it hasn’t been hard keeping up with weekly releases. Lately we’ve found ourselves revisiting drops from earlier in the year but because we love you all we still covered new music from Sampha, Westside Gunn, Mist, A2, Young Thug, NSG, LeoStayTrill, Ghetts, Rick Ross and Meek Mill

October's very own has returned with his highly anticipated 10th solo album "For All The Dogs". As well documented fans of Drake we spent most of this album reviewing the album and further discussing some of the criticism it has received since its release. We also saw new music from Earl Sweatshirt/Alchemist, Destin Conrad & Arin Ray.

We took yet another trip down memory lane due to the recent Megaman interview on the RTM Podcast and revisited everything 'So Solid' that we enjoyed from that era. This week we saw new music from M Huncho, Headie One/K-Trap, Vic Mensa, Cleo Sol, Realwarmwinter, Earl Sweatshirt/Alchemist, Mash 47 and Diddy.

For several reasons we had not recorded so there were a few projects to cover in order for us to catch up. We really have been spoiled this year as there have been so many quality albums, mixtapes and EPs that have been released. At long last Travis Scott delivered the long awaited "Utopia" album which we spent most of this week's episode reviewing. We also saw new offerings from Fee Gonzalez, Ambre, Nas, Nippa, Tre Mission, A2 and M Huncho

This week we saw our country’s prize possession deliver his long awaited and high anticipated third studio album “Beautiful And Brutal Yard”. Naturally we took some time to delve into J Hus’ latest offering and his position amongst the top tier artists in the UK. We also had a longtime friend of ours join us who also shared some of what music is in heavy rotation for him. We hope you all enjoy!

There’s a lot of talk surrounding the genres us 90s babies know, love and contributed considerably to establishing so we made a point of addressing some of it this week. We saw new music drop from P Money, Earl Sweatshirt, Blcxk Miller & RJ Payne.

With the rise in AI generated media, many are seemingly beginning to question the content they are consuming which is what we delve into this week. As fans of Young Thug it’s needless to say that we were both pleased to hear that he dropped “Business Is Business”. We also saw new music from Stormzy, Killer Mike, Gunna and Nafe Smallz.

With the release of “Metro Boomin Presents Spider-Man: Across The Spider-verse” soundtrack album, for the first time on the pod we well and truly went on a tangent. Rebel further proved why he’s a self-titled “Hood-Nerd” which you’ll gather within the first 15 minutes of the episode. By the title of this week’s episode surely it’s not hard to tell that we covered a lot of ground in terms of genre’s that we had listened to during that particular week. Summer Walker’s “Clear 2 - Soft Life” EP dropped alongside Potter Payper’s “Real Back In Style” album which we delved into while revisiting projects discussed on the previous episode.

This week Jerry (Andre) seemed to forget that we were recording a whole podcast and called out names hence the title of this episode. We got into releases from Nines, Jack Harlow, Anew & Yughz.

Some uncertainties were lingering in the air this week which naturally we delved into. Swizz Beats rolled out the “Hip Hop 50” project and ofcourse we reviewed it but aside from one or two new songs we couldn’t help but revisit our standout albums from this year so far.

It would seem as though someone has turned into a Dancehall Demon over the last week somehow which we’ll get into throughout the episode. That aside we took some time to give our review of Avelino’s new album “God Save The Streets”. Enjoy!

In recent years we’ve seen several changes in the way artists release and/or roll out their music which was a topic of discussion on this week’s episode. It seemed to be a relatively slow week for releases (well at least on our radar) so as far as new music goes we only covered Che Lingo’s “Coming Up For Air” and Daniel Caesar’s “Never Enough”.

With the reoccurring conversation surrounding the exceptions made for some artists who stick to one formula successfully versus those who aren’t, we delved further into it this week. This week we saw releases from Elhae, CLBRKS, DJ Drama, 38 Spesh, Reason, Tyler The Creator and Larry June/The Alchemist.

This week we had some very healthy offerings from the likes of Hit-Boy, 6lack, Kaleem Taylor, Tyler The Creator, Maverick Sabre and Michael Dear. As all of these releases were projects as opposed to singles it definitely felt like a sick week for music.

First of all it was a must that we took a moment out to pay tribute to the legend that was Bobby Caldwell as he had recently passed away. Also we both watched the “Channel U” documentary on LinkUpTV so got into that somewhat. The two of us went to see Isaiah Rashad’s concert but only one of us saw the show. This week we got into new music from Masego, Musiq Soulchild & HitBoy, Juai, Karri, DBE, Bankroll Hayden and Don Toliver.

While we were gifted releases from Foushee, Fredo, Anuka and Enny, it was a must that Kelly Price got an honourable mention for being a musical staple in both of our childhoods. Part of our discussion this week lead into music business and our thoughts on former formats music was sold and/or consumed in.

As Valentines Day was afoot when we recorded this episode, one of our special guests (Mush) suggested that we talk all things R&B so that’s what we attempted to. We also had the honour of having our long time friend P on the pod this week too so we hope you enjoy.

Somebody is obviously becoming a sample-seeking junkie over the last few weeks. While we did cover new releases, the oldies have definitely resonated with us lately.

This week we somehow arrived at Rebel sharing his entry point to Grime which Andre seemed to find humour in. We saw new music from Kaleem Taylor, Daniel Caeser, Meron T, PARTYNEXTDOOR and Clavish. It would seem as though both of us have been blasting joints from the past so expect a lot backtracking.

As it's the start of the year naturally there hasn't been many new releases (Well at least we haven't found many). Without discussing it before hand it would seem as though we both decided to revisit much older music over the last week and thoroughly enjoyed doing so. R.I.P Busyfingers | R.I.P Geerips
