Tv EN ↓ Odcinki: 136

Bryce and Nic both are both involved in the entertainment industry AND they both love movies! The Batman (2022) 05.11.2026

Send us Fan Mail Matt Reeves' latest crack at the infamous Batman has been lauded as one of the great adaptions of the last 40 years. O Brother, Where Art Thou? 29.10.2026

Fast forward over 70 episodes and Nolan is back with his 2026 epic, a modern interpretation of Homer's Odyssey. Nic was basically forced to like it in order to suit the countdown, but will Bryce be on board?

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) 08.10.2026

At the top of the horror remake boom, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was the first cab off the rank and made an incredible amount of money in spite of its critical reception. As time has gone on, it's become somewhat of a modern horror darling. But will Nic feel the same way?

A Bug's Life 01.10.2026

In a slight plot twist, Nic follows up his Seven Samurai with an unexpected re-imagining in 1998's A Bug's Life. Pixar has come a long way since 1998, but is it for better or worse?

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974) 24.09.2026

In 1974, Director Tobe Hooper shocked the world by introducing them to his micro budget horror film The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Today, it is considered one of the all time greatest horror films ever made and Bryce wholeheartedly agrees. Will Nic find some enjoyment here, or is this film too grim and disgusting for his more artistic taste?

Seven Samurai 17.09.2026

To kick off our remakes/re-imaginings countdown, Nic picks a 3 and a half hour classic in the 1956 Seven Samurai. Will Bryce be bewildered by this landmark in cinema, or has time been unkind to this Japanese epic?

Drop Dead Fred 10.09.2026

For Bryce's favourite bad movie and the final film of the countdown, we take a look at a 1991 cult classic infamously titled Drop Dead Fred. The critics hated this movie, but will Nic find any merit?

The Island of Dr. Moreau (1996) 03.09.2026

The Lover (1992) 20.08.2026

After a less than artsy affair last week, Nic finally shows his true colours with this French piece of cinema for his second favourite bad film of the countdown. Will Bryce see any merit in this controversial exotic drama, or will this will fly far and wide over his head?

The Punisher (2004) 13.08.2026

Bryce drags Nic back into the Marvel universe this week with somewhat of an outlier in 2004's The Punisher. While the critics didn't get along with this one, it's considered somewhat of a darling 20 + years later, but will Nic feel the same way?

Couples Retreat 06.08.2026

To kick off what could be a disastrous countdown, Nic give Bryce a movie with an embarrassingly low Rotten Tomatoes score to kick off our run of bad movies in what could be our biggest challenges to date.

We've reached Nic's NUMBER ONE pick for our lesser known films countdown, and this episode we have a surprising entry. With an all star cast, a top tier director and a Netfllix exclusive, what could possibly go wrong with The Meyerowitz Stories?

The Monster (2016) 16.07.2026

After a depressing film last week, Bryce doubles down by picking another one this week, with an indie sleeper from the man who made The Strangers. Will Nic find the charm in this low budget horror, or is it doomed to fall flat?

Grave of the Fireflies 09.07.2026

After getting the deep cuts countdown off on the wrong foot, Nic moves on to an ACTUAL favourite with Studio Ghibli's lesser known project from the 80s. Will Bryce get on board with this incredibly depressing piece of work, or will the sadness be too much to bare?

Go (1999) 02.07.2026

After Nic made a mockery of the countdown last week, Bryce gets us back on track with his third favourite film from the underrated gems countdown. Will Nic get around this bizarre 90 minute cult classic, or will it fly over his head?

Not only is it Bryce's number one pick for the Best Picture countdown, it is also his favourite film of all time. Nic will be tasked with the Milos Forman masterpiece, One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest. Has this film exceeded the complications of time, or has it become a relic of the past?

Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) 04.06.2026

Will Nic get on board with this tragic underdog story, or will he be lost to the spectacle?

Kramer vs. Kramer 21.05.2026

In what can only be described as a relatively predictable pick for our friend Nic, his SECOND favourite Best Picture winner is awarded to the 1979 legal family drama Kramer Vs. Kramer. For Bryce's third favourite film for the best picture winners list, he picks a Coen Brothers classic in the 2000s epic No Country For Old Men.
