We didn't get much feedback on this episode but we consider what we have. For next week, we'll combine the feedback with the following week's recap podcast (ep. 11) so keep your eye out for that. If we return to full feedback capacity before the end of this chunk of episodes we'll return to the feedback podcast as well. A big thank you to Mysteriana for creating the Watching Dead theme music. Find...

The Walking Dead is back for the second, but not final, premiere of the eleventh season and so are we to praise it where it's good (yes, it's occasionally good) and to blow it up like it was hit by the hwacha when it's bad (it often is). Join us for the podcast to find out what we thought. A big thank you to Mysteriana for creating the Watching Dead theme music. Find all of their music at Mysteria...

Uncharted is getting pretty awful reviews and we think we know why. Mark Wahlberg. He's just a bad Sully and doesn't seem particularly interested in being in what is an otherwise competent National Treasure-style action movie. It feels very similar to the series of games and the set pieces were enjoyable enough to keep us engaged, with maybe one exception. Join us for the podcast to hear our full...

The season finale of The Book of Boba Fett didn't exactly wow us despite a near-hour-long action sequence that includes pretty much every character that has ever appeared on screen in Star Wars or any other cinematic universe. (I think Goofy is even in the background somewhere.) Join us for a discussion about what worked and what didn't, but if you're a big fan of what's been happening on Book of...

Come with us on a journey to glimpse the elusive creature known as the "Boba Fett". Together, we will take to the sands of Tatooine, venturing into its natural habitat to catch a sight more rare than a hope chest full of spice. Be sure to gaze upon it only briefly however, for the Boba Fett is a timid and skittish creature which can be easily startled, retreating back into its hiding hole. Check o...

We're back for another quick update on House of the Dragon. There's some minor casting news and A.Ron has some highlights from the early-goings of House of the Dragon to deliver. The Book of Boba Fett Chapter 5: Return of the Mandalorian marks a return to form, but we're beginning to think that's because The Mandalorian is the new "coolest character" in Star Wars, as Boba Fett is completely absent from his own show this week. We're also treated to a hot rod that puts the modders mopeds to shame in an excellent cameo from the prequels. Check out https://support.baldmove.com...

We went into Killjoy nearly blind but podcast commissioner Doug assured us that it was bad enough to wrap back around to good. Turns out Doug was exactly right. The creators chose the homeopathic approach to budgeting, mixing no more than 1 part money to every 100 parts runtime. Despite that, we enjoyed our time with it. Join us for the podcast to find out exactly why. You can get your very own cu...

This episode made Boba Fett look like a real buffoon. Unfortunately, that's not our recollection of the character from the original series and there are no number of "flashbactas" that can make us ok with it. Join us for the podcast for a discussion about what didn't work and why. Check out https://support.baldmove.com/ to find out how you can gain access to ALL of our premium content, as well as...

Join us for one last episode of the Beltalowda podcast to celebrate the end of the perhaps the best sci-fi show to date. It's a super-sized, feedback-packed episode where we quibble a little over the necessity of certain events and wonder what could have been but come out the other side appreciating what we did get. You can find JoeWrote's "Critical Space Theory" post here. Check out https://suppo...

The obligatory action scene this week is a real disappointment but the rest of the episode held up pretty well. The series finale delivers on nearly all fronts with some great action, some precious final moments between the characters we've come to love, and a promising conclusion for Inyalowda / Beltalowda relations. Join us for the podcast to hear our full thoughts on perhaps the best sci-fi series ever made. (We go into that) Check out https://support.baldmove.com/ to find out how you can gain access to...

In the second-to-last feedback episode of the series we talk about the excellent sci-fi writing that The Expanse has brought us and consider what comes next for fans of the TV series after it ends. The second episode of The Book of Boba Fett was objectively better in almost every way. The desert scenes were infinitely more interesting, the action scenes more exciting, and it feels like it's going somewhere. Join us for the podcast to hear our thoughts on the much-improved The Tribes of Tatooine. Check out https://support.baldmove.com/ to find out how you can gain access to ALL of our premium...

The questioning of decisions has turned inward this episode, removing Holden from the crosshairs, but putting Amos, Avasarala, Filip, and even Drummer squarely in the sights. It's a great episode full of moving scenes and setting up the action for next week's finale. Join us for the podcast to hear our thoughts. The consequences of previous choices start to come into full relief this week as Holden has to figure out what to tell Naomi about his decisions and Avasarala has to figure out how to make good on her implicit promise to the people of Ceres. We have a new commissioned podcast from bald move fan Sheldon… it’s Jurassic Park! Do the effects hold up? Are the kids annoying? What happened to the shaving cream can full of dino embryos? What would this movie look like with Jim Carrey in the role of Dr. Ian Malcolm? We ponder all these and more as we gaze into the amber orb of nostalgia that is Jurassic Park.  You can get your very own custom...

We're halfway through the final season and Marco is smartly making his problems Earth's problems, even if it's not popular with everyone. Holden is also making some less-than-popular decisions and we're excited to see how that plays out. Join us for the podcast for our full review. We've seen The Matrix Resurrections and the only thing we want to say is "not bad". Seriously, we don't want to spoil anything for you and there's a lot going on in this movie. You might want to see it again or, like Jim, you might want to see another sequel before you make up your mind about this one, but at the very least it's more enjoyable than either of the previous Matrix sequels. Join us fo...

Everyone has seen the first 2 episodes of this season so it's time to consider your feedback. First though, we talk about the 2 X-Ray-exclusive webisodes and the announcement of the TellTale game that seems to center around Camina Drummer. We wondered how a spider-man movie could justify a two-and-a-half hour runtime. Well, turns out if you sprinkle in enough characters, enough nostalgia, and enough jokes, then top it with a healthy dose of multi-verse, it all works itself out. Maybe multi-verse is what Eternals was missing? Join us for the podcast to hear what we thought of Marvel's latest Spider-man movie. Check out https://suppor...

There's a familiar face aboard the Rocinante that has us very excited for the final season. We talk more about the weird Laconia intros, the anti-gravity effects, as well as the episode in general.
