Starring Natalie Portman’s arms! Adding to the ever-evolving Thor mythos, Love and Thunder was an addition to the Marvel canon that was bright, mostly fun, and oozes Taiki Waititi’s style. In a crazy GNR backed romp, Thor Classic and Thor Jane take on a villain that makes us go “Wow, Christian Bale should play the Joker.” In a half-good, half-eye rolling movie, there’s fun for everyone, so long as...

Ouch. A lot of people avoided becoming chunky salsa, and we’re actually disappointed. The episode had to pack in A LOT of information to wrap up the season full of psychopaths and potential patricide. Between the smackdowns, The Deep’s stoic murder felt too tame and that’s when we know that The Boys has corrupted our brains. And, um, where did Stan Edgar go?! Next season looks like it might be a r...

Let’s take a look at Season 4 before Season 5 comes out…in a few years. In the meantime, can we appreciate how the Stranger Things fanbase is still around for this great show? In a season that could have easily gone wrong, so many things went oh so right and we couldn’t be happier. Join us as we discuss things we missed in Season 4 and what a time jump into the early 90s could look like in Season...

Are you spotting smoke and decrypting parallels from previous seasons? Maybe you should work for the FBI. Let’s ponder the question “what makes a person”? What is the show trying to say about the meaning of being sentient and alive? And how many times are we going to go back and forth between deciding if this is real or a simulation? Grab a Methuselah sized bottle of wine and enjoy the wild theori...

CHARISMA. CHAMPION. CHARACTER. Find out what it takes for A.Ron and Jim to qualify you as a “badass”. Get a peek at the extremely niche and erudite system that turns ranking into an art. With an expectation of adding future badasses to the rankings, we might need to blow up our resin Mt. Rushmore from time to time. How badass would that be?  Hey there! Check out https://support.baldmove.com/ to fi...

The metaphors are coming down heavily with the use of the book My Father’s Dragon and the opera Don Giovanni. In a show where people who seem like they should be dead are alive, we can’t trust our own eyes. Does everything in this reality have an explanation, or are we watching an abstracted reality? Is Christina unconsciously carrying an encryption key? Join us as we discuss this and more theorie...

CHAMPION. CHARISMA. CHARACTER.  Arnold Schwarzenegger, the epitome of badassness, is facing down Green Berets and Freddie Mercury mustaches. Not only will you see Arnold achieve his highest body count in a movie, you’ll see some really awesome stunts pre-CGI age. The script comes from Steven E. de Souza who also penned Die Hard, 48 Hours, and Judge Dread, so the violent act per minute rate is nice...

Is it a simulation? Is it real life? Does your brain hurt yet? Hopefully any cranial discomfort is due to confusion and not black goo between your ears. We’ve got some theories on how this season is going to pan out. Want to share some of your own? That was a metalhead finale we can cheer for. It came down to the wire and Eleven’s arms were extending while she screamed, of course. BUT the Duffer Brothers delivered a gut punch that made us remember why we love this show. While Jim is condemning pineapple pizza to The Upside Down, A.Ron is happy to report that this episode delivers in stakes, pacing, and surprises.  Got feedback? Send us a mes...

The kids are gearing up and you should too. They’re all getting good bonding time before the final episode where we might lose one of the beloved kids. Nancy is smitten with Steve once again. Let’s be honest, who isn’t at this point? And we now have definitive proof that the clocks mean something, A.Ron would like his trophy now. Come back soon for our thoughts on the next mega episode! Got feedba...

What happens when you cross demented nursery rhymes and Empire Strikes Back? This episode of The Boys. With the members of the show living out different plot lines, it doesn’t quite feel like the boys are back in town. But that doesn’t stop the classic “Boys” antics of beating the living daylights out of each other. We’re seeing great characterization of Soldier Boy and the not so great use of the...

How do you know what’s real on this show? Who do you believe? But what we do know, the practical knowledge of Westworld is paying off and people are protecting their precious food from packs of raccoons. If we could have a philosopher chime in on the free will vs. predestination thoughts, that would be great. Unless…we’re all already in a simulation and the point is moot.  Got feedback? Do you hav...

You know that fly that’s hanging out on your wall? Yeah, it’s out to get you. Before your eyes cross reading all those theories on Reddit, check out this episode of Watching Westworld as we gear up for watching the rest of season 4! Where do you stand on what makes a human? And listen to the fun facts A.Ron found on the Internet. Thoughts? Feedback? Need advice for killing that fly? Email us at we...

The season opener sets up a lot of interesting questions about how things have changed in the 7+ years since the end of season 3 and, in true Westworld fashion, who is who and what is real. Join us for our first impressions in the "Instant Take", recorded minutes after watching the episode. And enjoy the subsequent Q&A "Instant Talk" portion of the show if you're a Club Bald Move member. Learn mor...

It's a shocking thing to be witness to Herogasm, let me tell you. What's more shocking still is to be witness to Herogasm yet somehow underwhelmed by its depravity. Even though the event itself disappointed, the episode did not. Join us for the podcast for a discussion of what went wrong and what went oh so right. Check out https://support.baldmove.com/ to find out how you can gain access to ALL o...

The satire is hitting close to home. You may feel bad about yourself, but so long as you don’t sleep with Butcher, there is hope for you yet. We’re sensing some red herrings in the mix, who is telling the truth? And place your bets, who will be a smoky corpse or chunky human salsa by the end of the episode? Feedback, thoughts, can’t sleep because of what you saw on the latest episode? Send in your...

We fell for the cast reunion ploy. It drew us in, it’s not our fault we watched this Tyran-atrocious dinosaur movie. The twinkle in Sam Neill’s eye was squashed by the crush of too many species of dinosaurs. And Chris Pratt is now like that cool guy from high school, he already peaked and now he’s just tired. Listen to A.Ron’s impression of Jeff Goldblum when he’s flirting with a woman, there’s no...

Homelander is…just the worst. Everyone seems to have some sort of plan, but not telling other people the plan…maybe that’s why it’ll take a whole five years to execute? Butcher is crunching V24 and gearing up for a fight with an opponent that may not be as super as expected. And if you want Jim and A.Ron to believe a character is dead, you better show the corpse. The tools are present to cripple a...

This season of Stranger Things brought on the 80s nostalgia and lots of great moments. We have opinions, you have feedback, let’s talk about it! Listen in on Vecna theories, relationship analyses, and your hot takes on your favorite (or least favorite) Stranger Things Season 4 moments. We’re now looking forward to a big, shiny bow to tie up this entire journey in the rest of this season and the ne...

We’re excited to welcome The Boys back. Stormfront has been Anakin-ed after Obi-Wan got the high ground. This show has violence, deception, and childhood trauma in spades in only the way The Boys can. Who is a pawn? Who is the controller? And who's on the chopping block next? Grab some chips and a can of chunky human salsa and watch The Boys. Feedback, comments, can’t sleep because of what you saw...
