Boy, these shows really loved their feature length pilots, didn’t they? This week’s shadowy flight takes Jay and A.Ron into the world of a real man’s: Stringfellow Hawke. Stoic, heroic, traumatized war vet, appreciator of fine wine and finer art, musically gifted, philosophically complicated, mysterious and irresistible to women, stunt pilot by day and mercenary pilot by night. It’s A LOT. Airwolf...

This is not the same Star Trek that Gene Roddenberry envisioned, but there are some things to enjoy about this episode. There are some old school TNG vibes. Worf is the GOAT of the series. There's a plot twist Jim and A.Ron didn’t see coming and Picard is getting his swear on.  Beam your feedback to picard@baldmove.com. Hey there! Check out https://support.baldmove.com/ to find out how you can gai...

If you weren’t already convinced that Bella Ramsey is the perfect pick for Ellie, this episode will change your mind. As painful as it was to watch this episode the first time, it’s even creepier on a second watch. Grab a bowl of munchies, maybe somebody’s dad, and enjoy this episode of Savage Starlight!  Thoughts? We’re back for season two, where we’ll be sampling from the very best of 80s action television as we watch the pilots where all these stories begin. This week, we’re with the A-Team, who from what we gather are an elite team of special forces con-men, as they attempt to run a mercenary co-op with a side hustle of Hollywood studio backlot misadventures. Things get a little rough in patches, but the...

This is possibly the most dangerous situation Ellie and Joel have been in. As if the world wasn’t already bleak enough, new horrors rise. Cordyceps are the least of your worries in Silver Lake. I know you were yelling at your screen for half of the episode, so join in the Instant Talk and yell about those things with us! Thoughts? Feedback? Did you cry at “baby girl”? Tell us at tlou@baldmove.com....

Most important things first; Grogu is still super cute and Mando is still the best space dad. Now onto the episode! Mando must atone for removing his helmet. It is unknown whether Bo-Katan is friend or foe. And the Swamp Thing makes an appearance. Don your helmet and blast off for another season of The Mandalorian.   Feedback can be sent to mando@baldmove.com. No credits necessary.  Hey there! Che...

You’ve got burning questions and A.Ron and Jim have some cool answers. How was the experience of watching this episode different for show-only watcher v. a game player? Does FEDRA kill people for not passing the vibe check? What is the safe transport speed behind a horse when you have a gut wound? What is the evolution of a runner?  Thoughts? Feedback? Picard delivers a good episode! Between Picard’s new family members, Worf’s one-liners, and the weak medical practices, this episode has lots to unpack. When you’re dealing with a show with decades of history and plot twists both cool and nonsensical, it provides great theory fodder. In addition to their usual commentary, Jim and A.Ron have a theory crafting session that will have you laughing.  B...

In this DLC (downloadable content for the non-gamers) episode we get a close look at Ellie’s past and her relationship with Riley. Jim and A.Ron ponder the questions, “Would this have been better as a Christmas episode?” and “Why did it take so long for the infected to hear them?”. This was the calm before the storm. You’ll be wishing for more wonders as this season starts wrapping up and we have...

This was the sixth annual Groundhog Day and it was a resounding success thanks to the support of the Bald Move community! This year, Jim and A.Ron watched the entire Fast and Furious franchise to raise money for the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund and they had a great time along the way. In this episode you will hear from Connor Swan from Cure Alz Foundation and get a peek into the AI madness that kept Jim...

Being a teenager is never easy. It’s worse when you’re in FEDRA school and your best friend disappeared for three weeks. In this episode we take a step into Ellie’s past and her relationship with Riley. Though this episode takes a break from the main action, it is by no means devoid of thrills.  Thoughts? Feedback? Which was your favorite wonder? Tell us at tlou@baldmove.com.  If you were a Bald M...

You get what you see in the trailer with this movie, and that’s a good thing. The big, messy gore will entertain you, you sick individual. The cast will have you saying, “Hey, I recognize them!” every couple of minutes. And it’s all based on a true story from the 1980s! So, maybe this is technically a historical drama? Club members, you’ll get the strangest and most hilarious play by play for this...

Don your helmet, Mando and Grogu are among the stars again. Will the cult of Mandalore accept Din Djarin back into their ranks? Will Bo-Katan pursue Mando and the Darksaber? We’ve got a Bloater-size feedback bag this week. Turns out the show Jim pitched already exists in multiple iterations. For the last time, that is a menstrual cup, ok? Is the dog sniffing test equivalent to a PCR or home covid test? What’s the difference between Jackson and Jackson Hole? And if you think Jim and A.Ron are faking their enjoyment, go listen to Bald Move’s Mandalorian podcast.  Check...

Picard is in denial about a major personal discovery. Raffi goes rogue for better or worse. The deflector dish looks oddly familiar. What’s the deal with Shaw? Is Beverly a warlord? Will all of these plot lines and details pay off by the end of the season? A.Ron and Jim are steeped in Star Trek lore, don’t worry, they’ll pause and explain their jokes when they need to.  Beam your feedback to picar...

Scott Lang aka Ant-Man is back, and wouldn’t you know it, his daughter is a freaky genius like every other teenager in the MCU. After her invention sucks the Pym family into the Quantum Realm, they have to figure out how to survive a place with more crazy rules than your DnD manual. Jim wasn’t impressed, but A.Ron had fun, so it’s a lively discussion.  Come back next week for Cocaine Bear!  Hey th...

Jim and A.Ron put their science hats on to answer your questions and come up with some head canons where answers are lacking. Can bloaters have a midlife crisis? Do practical effects save money? How is FEDRA still operating across the separate quarantine zones? Why is Kathleen the way that she is? Find out the answers to these questions and more! Thoughts? Feedback? Can Joel help his asshole voice...

In under 90 minutes, this movie manages to offend, stupefy, and disturb. You’ll laugh, but not for the reasons the writers want you to. Sylvester Stallone stars in this movie, and was supposedly tricked into the role. You can check out the Schwarzenegger-Stallone Rivalry in this wild Wikipedia page. It’s worth noting that one of the three writers of this movie is Blake Snyder. Snyder is the author...
