On the second half of this season of Mr. Feeny, we’re checking out the BEST episodes of the series we’ve already seen, and this week we’re taking a second look at A-Team’s “Deadly Maneuvers”! Seems like everybody wants an arch nemesis to square off against in the 80s, and this week the A-Team is met with a B-Team assembled from the personals section of Soldier of Fortune magazine by a corrupt cons...

These are the wrapup thoughts of the star-studded show, Star Trek: Picard. A.Ron and Jim’s mission: to chat about a fun show as good friends who love Star Trek. To boldly declare which moments were good, and which were nonsense!  This isn’t the last voyage! Bald Move will be covering Strange New Worlds starting this June! Hey there! Check out https://support.baldmove.com/ to find out how you can g...

The finale didn’t land with some critics, but Jim and A.Ron liked it! When you let go of “what could have been”, you’ll enjoy the swarms of Mandos, fight scenes, and Giancarlo Esposito. What will be next for this found family? Your hosts share some season 4 hopes. And you can share yours by sending in an email!  Got feedback or season 4 hopes? Tell us at mando@baldmove.com Hey there! Check out htt...

The voyage of Star Trek: Picard comes to an end. The series had the best of episodes, and the worst of episodes. But Jim and A.Ron say this finale stuck the landing. The return of the entire cast was a good burst of nostalgia and the perfect way to end the show for those diehard Trek Heads. Though the journey may end here for Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Jim and A.Ron speculate on the future storyline...

On the second half of this season of Mr. Feeny, we’re checking out the BEST episodes of the series we’ve already seen, and this week we take a second look at MACGYVER’s “The Widowmaker”, and give Jim his second crack at MR. FEENY this season! This is the episode that cements Murdock as an arch-nemesis for Mac, and we love that for him. But we’re not sure there’s enough “MacGyvering” to be had in w...

Nic Cage terrorizes innocents as the notorious Dracula. And the other Nic, Nicholas Hoult, is a delightful balance as Renfield, his familiar. Awkwafina and Shoreh Aghdasloo round out the cast as they bring comedy and gravitas respectively to this cult classic in the making. It has violence, laughs, and a meaningful metaphor. Sink your teeth into this First Run Bald Movie.  Next First Run movie wil...

In the previous episode, The Mandalorian gave us a nuanced look at the consciousness of droids. In this episode, Grogu pilots a droid carcass like a mech. The horror! But that’s not the only scary thing. An old enemy sOmEhOw returns, the Double F’s have to steer this ship to line up with Episode 9, and Michael Jordan’s tequila is expensive! But one question remains, who are the spies? Got feedback...

You’ve heard Mary Poppins sing; “A spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down!” Now sing along with Jim and A.Ron as they declare; “A beautiful ship makes the dumb plot line go down!” Armed with the TNG Technical Manual and decades of fanboy knowledge, your hosts try to make sense of this episode. And do fireworks work in space? There’s nothing in the manual about that… Check out Bald Move’s cov...

On the second half of this season of Mr. Feeny, we’re checking out the BEST episodes of the series we’ve already seen, starting with The Dukes of Hazzard’s S04E023, “Bad Day in Hazzard”. In this one, the Duke family and the forces of Boss Hogg are held at gunpoint as part of a daring scheme to steal millions from the US Treasury. Will Jay find the heel/face team up interesting, or will the Dukes m...

Jason from Podcastica joins Jim to discuss the latest episode of The Mandalorian. There’s battle, intrigue, and an interspecies love story! Christopher Lloyd is there to bring his old man weirdness to Star Wars, and we gotta say, it’s good to have him here. Mando and Bo explore a new world. Then Bo throws down the gauntlet to retake her fleet. It’s an eventful episode.  Would you go to a droid bar...

Step through the metaphorical door into this episode of The Podcast Maneuver. Jim and A.Ron ponder deep questions such as, what’s the deal with the middle finger? Is the Picard wine trash? And which Star Trek character has the most interesting love life? (Jim and A.Ron have everyone’s romantic history memorized…do with that information what you will.)  Declare you support for #teamleftnut. Beam yo...

Our latest 80s action show selection was inspired by Jay’s hazy hotel memories of once being entertained by this show. Jay regrets this pick almost immediately, but A.Ron has flashbacks to the bitter disappointment of a misspent youth where he allowed himself to get excited for a live action superhero show on network TV. Intergenerational bonding is what we’re all about on this podcast, so we help...

As the series goes on, its message surrounding politics gets muddy. What is this show trying to say, if anything at all? Meanwhile, the Armorer sends Bo-Katan on Rumspringa. Moff Gideon’s ship is found with remnants of Beskar. And you CANNOT make A.Ron watch any Star Wars cartoons, ok??!!?  Is Grogu on his way to becoming a Dark Jedi? Feedback can be sent to mando@baldmove.com. No credits necessar...

There are some scorching-hot dueling theories from your hosts, Jim and A.Ron, in this episode. Picard may have gotten cucked, but Beverly got “Cuckoo-ed”. As early-onset Jumaji syndrome sets in, your nutty hosts try to figure out how much of Picard you need to run a successful experiment.  Beam your feedback to picard@baldmove.com.  Hey there! Check out https://support.baldmove.com/ to find out ho...

The Dukes of Hazzard in a very entertaining show that is unfortunately buried underneath multiple layers of Daughters of the Confederacy obfuscation and Hollywood writing room ignorance. Good looking guys and gals tear-assing around the countryside in a classic American muscle car clowning on corrupt law enforcement all while fighting for justice and the underprivileged. What’s not to like? Wait,...

John Wick: Chapter 4 is a return to form. It’s beautiful to look at, the action is fun, and there’s some laugh out loud moments. A.Ron has deemed the production design as “wealthcore” aesthetic (let’s see how long it takes for that to trend on TikTok). Jim has a hot take on Keanu Reeves as an actor. Find out more about this ultra-violent ballet of death from your favorite hosts.  Club members, cat...

When baby’s first words are “This is the way”, you may need to rethink your priorities as a parent. Not only does this episode deliver on some exciting action, this is the redemption tour for Ahmed Best. Not sure who that is? Don’t worry! Jim and A.Ron dive into his story and why his appearance here is so important in this episode of Tribe of Two.  Feedback can be sent to mando@baldmove.com. No cr...

This episode has a bounty of nostalgia. Worf continues to delight, Geordi La Forge makes his appearance, and Jack waxes poetic just like his father. Joining Geordi is LeVar Burton’s real life daughter Mica. Looks like they’re keeping Star Trek in the family. But it’s not all fun and games! Keep an eye out for those Changelings.  Beam your feedback to picard@baldmove.com. Hey there! Check out https...

The feedbag is throbbing with feedback for the season 1 wrapup. Is humanity worth saving? And would sacrificing Ellie be worth it? Does the show tell us the truth and give us all the facts? Was it the bite or the knife that made Ellie immune? And the big question we need answered from the showrunners…when are we getting season 2?? Need more TLOU in your life? Check out the TLOU Part 1 playthrough...

This week we take a look at Big Dick Anderson’s Magnum Opus, MacGyver. MacGyver was James Bond with Bill Nye the Science Guy sensibilities, and when Jim heard he was the subject of our next Feeny, he had to join. This is a great introduction to the character and his schtick, as Mac has to travel to an underground bunker that has suffered a catastrophic bombing, and now threatens to leak powerful a...

Was Joel wrong? Were the Fireflies right? Here at the end of the season, we take a look back at the major steps that brought us to the explosive conclusion. Join Jim and A.Ron as they hear from medical professionals, ponder Jim’s take on the mycologist, and talk about Marlene’s experience.  Want to see A.Ron’s ten-palm-monkey-looting technique? Check out twitch.tv/baldmove Sunday 9PM EST.  Thought...

Mando completes the ritual to be a recognized Mandalorian again, but that doesn’t mean he’s free from problems. There are whispers of Moff Gideon’s alleged escape. Bo-Katan wavers on her personal beliefs. And someone is collecting junk heap urinal cakes. This episode begs the question…is this just another backdoor pilot??Feedback can be sent to mando@baldmove.com. No credits necessary. Hey there! ...

The quality of Star Trek: Picard is holding on this season. There are more conspiracy theories that go right to the top. Jack Crusher turns into John Wick. And A.Ron would like the record to reflect that he called the appearance of Ro Laren. Utopia doesn’t exist in this iteration of Star Trek, but at least this season is decent despite some odd dialogue.  Beam your feedback to picard@baldmove.com....

It’s an emotionally crushing finale full of hard choices and desperate situations. The Fireflies may have gone off the deep end. We get to see the killer version of Joel people have been talking about all season. Did you catch all the video game actor cameos throughout the season?  Thoughts? Feedback? Do you like giraffes? Tell us at tlou@baldmove.com.  Support Bald Move: Club Bald Move Join the d...
