ReviewTechUSA says Donald Trump is “absolutely ruining video games” because of the White House gaming memes involving Pokémon, Halo, Call of Duty, Animal Crossing, and Tetris. But Rich’s video quickly stops being about gaming and becomes a political meltdown about Iran, farmers, Medicaid, grocery prices, Jimmy Kimmel, and the midterms. He never proves how Donald Trump is actually ruining video gam...

DreamcastGuy called The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake ugly, lazy and pointless. I think he is dead wrong, and Nintendo’s first gameplay reveal gives us plenty of evidence. The Ocarina of Time remake features rebuilt visuals, manual jumping, sprinting, free camera control, expanded dialogue, fully voiced cutscenes, a changing Castle Town and several modern gameplay improvements. Nintendo...

Square Enix spent seven years selling fans a physical FF7 trilogy—then made Final Fantasy VII Revelation incomplete on disc. Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth both shipped across multiple discs and preserved playable launch versions. Revelation’s PS5 and Xbox physical copies require an internet connection and additional downloaded game data before they can be played. The Nintendo Switch 2 versi...

Sony officially plans to end PlayStation physical game production for all new releases beginning in January 2028, pushing the platform toward a digital-only future. Gamers aren’t letting the controversy disappear—and the backlash against Sony’s physical games decision...

Sony is arguing that “reasonable consumers” understand that buying a digital PlayStation game does NOT mean they actually own it. But if the PlayStation Store says BUY NOW, takes your money, and puts the game in your library… what exactly are you buying? This is why digital ownership, physical games, game preservation, and consumer rights matter more than ever as PlayStation moves toward an increa...

Sony says “reasonable consumers” understand that buying a digital PlayStation game does NOT mean they actually own it. So why does the PlayStation Store still say BUY NOW and CONFIRM PURCHASE? Sony is facing a class-action lawsuit over digital game ownership and the language used on the PlayStation Store. In court, Sony argues that digital PlayStation games are licensed rather than sold — and that...

CyberLeek spent days leaking GTA 6 footage, hyping spoilers, pushing the CYBERLEEK memecoin and claiming GTA 6 was “not ready at all.” Then Rockstar dropped the official GTA 6 Extended Look. The difference was ridiculous. Colin Moriarty says gamers who can’t afford $80 for GTA 6 should “get a new hobby.” I already bought GTA 6 and I’m excited to play it, but telling gamers they’re basically too broke for the hobby because they question an $80 game is completely out of touch. Consumers are allowed to question higher game prices, digital licensing, physical ownership and whether $80 games should become the new standa...

Colin Moriarty says if you can’t afford the $80 price for GTA 6, you should “get a new hobby.” That’s not defending GTA 6 — that’s talking down to the gamers who actually pay for this industry. I already bought GTA 6 and I’m excited as hell to play it. But being able to afford an $80 game and believing an $80 game is worth the money are two completely different things. In this video, I call out Co...

Sony spent years chasing PlayStation live-service games, and now Horizon Hunters Gathering is reportedly being reworked while Horizon 3 remains years away. So why should I be excited about PS6 when Sony still hasn't convinced me it got everything it could out of PS5? Concord. Marathon. The Last of Us Online. Horizon Hunters Gathering. I'm not against multiplayer or live-service games. I&...

GTA 6 was allegedly leaked as a protest against gaming’s all-digital future. The person claiming responsibility says the fight is about physical ownership, digital preorders, game preservation, and gamers losing the choice to actually own their games. You can disagree with leaking GTA 6 and STILL think the industry is moving too far toward digital-only gaming. Are gamers giving up too much ownersh...

I don’t want a PS6 yet. Halo Studios was handed one of the easiest wins imaginable with Halo: Campaign Evolved, and somehow we’re right back to missing features, layoffs, disappointed fans, and another Halo release surrounded by excuses. Halo Campaign Evolved was supposed to be the comeback Halo needed, but this remake may have exposed an even bigger problem: Halo Studios itself. After playing it myself, the sales estimates, layoffs, technical problems and fan backlash have me wondering if Xbox needs to take Halo away from Halo Studios. Halo Campaign Evolved brought Master Chief back with a full remake of Halo: Combat Evolved, lau...
