Aidan and I dig into two new shows that premiered over the weekend: American Primeval on Netflix and The Pitt on Max. We give our general thoughts about the shows, and then have a larger discussion about how they might be good indications as to where television will be headed in 2025.

Aidan and I start by reacting to the 2025 SAG nominations. We discuss the surprise success of The Last Showgirl , which actors can kiss their Oscars chances goodbye, and who will think will win Best Ensemble. Then, we kick off the first annual box office draft! We each pick four films that we think will do well this year, and one we think could bomb.

Aidan and I recap the 2025 Golden Globes! We discuss Demi Moore's speech, the state of the acting races, the critics love for Emilia Perez , the campaign that's been building around The Brutalist , how boring the television categories were, Nikki Glaser's hosting job and much more!

Then, we discuss a few trailers that have peaked our interest, such as Here and A Different Man . Finally, we discuss Marvel's slew of announcements at Comic Con, including Robert Downey Jr. returning as Doctor Doom, and what their future looks like.

In honor of Inside Out 2 , Aidan and I build the Pixar Hall of Fame! We briefly touch on what Pixar has meant to us over the years, and whether or not we're concerned about the studio's current state. Then, we run through all twenty-eight films, and select ten to go into completely unofficial, meaningless Hall of Fame!

Aidan and I share our thoughts on the rumored cast for Sam Mendes's upcoming series of biopics on The Beatles. Then, we review the first episode of the FX series Clipped . Finally, we react to the news that Evangeline Lilly is retiring from acting, and share our thoughts on how her career panned out after her breakout in Lost .

Aidan and I list off some of the year's biggest winners and losers in pop culture, including Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, and Apple TV+.
