We’re talking about the myths we’ve all been fed — in relationships, healing, growth, and “adulting” — and how a lot of it sounds good… until you really live it.

Ever fall in love with a scenario you made up in your head? Same. This episode dives into fear, control, anxious attachment, and why we try to manage people, outcomes, and perceptions instead of letting things unfold. Turns out, anxiety makes a great director — just a terrible storyteller.

Some opinions are inside thoughts. These weren’t. We’re talking hot takes, unpopular truths, and the beliefs we’ve outgrown — from “money doesn’t buy happiness” to the advice that sounds good but doesn’t actually work in real life. Come disagree respectfully.

Turns out a lot of what we were taught growing up was… questionable. From religion and sex to shame and silence, we’re revisiting the rules we followed and asking who they actually helped. Spoiler: not us.
