"Voices of St. Helena Island Schools" is a captivating oral history podcast project that shines a spotlight on the rich history of St. Helena Schools. Powered by the Marge Jarvis Recording Studio that is funded by Adopt-a-School of Beaufort County, this unique project brings together the voices of the past and present to share the legacy of education on St. Helena Island. The podcast is led by the 5th graders of St. Helena Elementary School, who take the reins as interviewers, engaging local residents who are alumni of the St. Helena Island Schools in thoughtful conversations about their memories, experiences, and the evolution of education in their community.
