To Hell with this Podcast

A trio of superbly sinister, weird and downright classic films today! 70s Catholic paranoia is in full effect in Alice, Sweet Alice (1976) featuring Brooke Shields in her first role. Next is the very short and very dark Argento Cut of George Romero's all time classic Dawn of the Dead (Don't forget to check out our video of the Monroeville Mall on our YouTube). And the last film is straight...

snippy  |ˈsnipē | adjective  curt or sharp, especially in a condescending way:  a snippy note from our landlord . The leaves have all changed, there's a chill in the air, tomorrow is Halloween day and it's getting snippy out there! It's a day of massacres.. And it's not just in movie form. Dave and Tom go at it again and it's a doozy. Drive-Ins, Nail Guns and it all goes to Pie...

Happy Halloween 🎃 and welcome to Season 6! It’s our longest and most epic episode to date. To get ourselves in the mood for spooky season, we recorded in Dave’s torture / sex basement. Due to Tom's obsession with the Wrong Turn franchise and him paying upwards of $400 for the German box set (see his unboxing video on YouTube) we decided to review every single movie! It's an exhaustive deep dive "...

Season 5 finale! We take on Omen IV: The Awakening , Repossessed , and the brand-new Obsession . First up, the guys struggle through Omen IV , the 1991 made-for-TV sequel starring Faye Grant, Michael Woods, and Asia Vieira, in which a couple adopts a mysterious young girl who may be the new Antichrist. Then they revisit the unbearable horror-comedy Repossessed , directed by Bob Logan and starring...

This one might hold the record for shortest episode ever. Things start off with Memorial Day Massacre , a movie who's killer resembles someone in a bad Ringo Starr costume. From there, it's on to The 4th Floor , the 1999 thriller starring Juliette Lewis, William Hurt, and Shelley Duvall. Here Tom shares a story about how Austin Pendleton saw Tom in a play and paid him a compliment. Who knew Tom co...

This week, Tom and Dave take a trip through three movies that range from "pretty good" to "what the hell were they thinking?" First up is Tobe Hooper's least proud moment since Crocodile, The Toolbox Murders , a remake of the sick 70s slasher. Where a guy turns a trip to Home Depot into a murder spree. Then it's The Hearse , a movie that makes Dave and Tom switch opinio...

This week we’re throwing three wildly different slashes of horror into the meat grinder. First up, the ultimate Friday night fever dream: Freddy vs. Jason. We finally settle the age-old debate of who would win in a fight while asking the much harder question — was this chaotic crossover actually any good, or just glorious ’00s nonsense with a body count? Then we head back to the late ’70s for the...

Happy 50th episode!! Thanks to all 7 of our THWTP listeners! Tom and Dave celebrate with a little reminiscing, then they wash Adam's balls a little and then it's on the movies... These are "random off the shelf" picks. Tom picked House on Sorority Row, Dave chose Murder Set Pieces and Adam's pick is Let's Scare Jessica to Death. Enjoy!

Listener submitted movies ! Tom and Dave dive headfirst into the absolute trash fire of C.H.U.D. , House (1985), and Killer Klowns from Outer Space. A triple feature held together by slime, cotton candy, and other questionable substances. Between sewer freaks, haunted chaos-daddies, and homicidal clowns serving ball shaped cocoons, T&D are bickering, cackling, and dragging every moment like it...

Tom and Dave do a deep plunge into the strange, silver-sphere-philled world of Don Coscarelli's Phantasm — and everything that followed. The "boyssss" review the entire Phantasm saga, philm by philm, sphere by sphere, unpacking its surreal mythology, cult legacy, and decades-spanning characters. Tons of Tall Man talk, folks. Enjoy!

It’s a Christmas quickie and Tom and Dave are not on the same list. They tackle Dead End (2003) and the 2025 remake of Silent Night, Deadly Night and immediately spiral into a festive feud where Tom blames all of the world's problems on Rohan Campbell . Opinions are loud, patience is thin, and the real slashing comes from the commentary. Naughty, nice, and deeply judgmental—just how Christmas...

Two friends, three werewolves, zero restraint. In this episode, Dave and Tom sink their teeth into Wes Craven's very regrettable Cursed (2005), the very ’80s Silver Bullet , based on the Stephen King graphic novel Cycle of the Werewolf , and the absolutely unhinged Howling II . Starring Christopher Lee. Grab a Dunkin refresher for Tom and an old fashioned for Dave, avoid the full moon, and com...

It’s a day of Dave’s picks ya’ll and Tom ain’t having it! The bros dive into three distinct films: Heart Eyes , a recent indie romance / slasher perfect for Valentine’s Day complete with smooching, hand holding and eye gouging.
