I haven’t drank in almost 20 years….crazy how old thinking can set me back. So grateful to have Russ to talk about it with & friends that I get to be perfectly honest with. Getting some support when I need it is strength not weakness. Thoughts from the Tractor!

People ask us frequently do we have any grandkids? We start the answer with …. Wellllll…… We are very lucky to have been invited into so many others lives that their kids have become our grandkids without hesitation!! Family comes to us in all different ways! Thoughts from the Tractor.

How often do we say, “we should get together?” Only to meet up at a funeral & say it again !!! We have been going to many funerals lately & many people we know have had to endure multiple tragedies. We decided to have a bonfire at our farm instead of going to one more funeral. The laughter was amazing, the renewal of friendships, the knowing that these people around the fire are “our” people. The last month we scared ourselves with my health. Difficulty breathing & calling 911 was a real eye opener for both Russ & Me. As prepared I feel I am for my eventual death I am not. What are my living wishes? What do I want to do more of in life? What life changes do we need to make? Make sure we are living our life wishes! Thoughts from the Tractor.

After a trip away from home & then coming back to realize so much about my community, it is good to feel a sense of belonging. It is easy for some to criticize who we are or what we do…..realizing for ourself our value & not needing the approval of anyone but ourself is the greatest gift we can give our soul. Russ & I talk about what little things we can do & don’t do in our relationship that make a difference. It was a hard one to talk about. Some things seem so silly to be cranky about, but it’s about listening to what the other really wants. Simple things can turn into great things or can slowly erode the relationship. It is interesting to watch people who are having fun & drinking. Watching relationships, fun & the disintegration of an evening when people over indulge. Where did the fun go??? Russ & I are struggling to put the fun back in our life & not just be making lists & doing tasks. When did the fun leave? Where did it go? How do we get it back? What we believe & what is real sometimes needs to be challenged. With the internet we can’t always believe what we read or even see anymore. AI is becoming more integrated in our life so much that we can’t tell what is real & what is not. We have been off doing life & we are back!!! It has been a crazy couple of months. We have moved parents, clients & working to figure out our life & what is next. Life is getting shorter & more complicated, how do we live it well & simplify the way we live without other people telling us how to do it. Thoughts from the Tractor.

Today I am 58!!! I can hardly believe it! I am so grateful for all the life I have lived, the love I have & the people I have learned from. Life flies by….jump on & go! Thoughts from the Tractor.

I was gone for 10days, I learned so many things about myself & how I don’t want to be. Learning to listen vs interrupting & telling my story was a big one without being asked. Russ & I are going to work on this so we start listening & stop “spewing” just to talk! Thoughts from the Tractor.

Russ & I are continuing to learn from Leslie at Inner Sage. What in our life is medicine to help & heal & what is poison that hurts & makes us sick? We are having so much awareness with this. Wow!!!! I learned so much about Russ in this podcast! He has helped me grow & I didn’t even realize it. Our relationship has gone through so many twists. Going through my papers & journals I have realized that I am saying & wanting the same things I wanted 16years ago. From my battle with sugar & weight to my buisness ideas & plan.
