It's not podcast without difficulties and issues! Once that got solved, we got in EA axing Bioware, covered some fun we've been having in Marathon again, and discuss a bit about Epic and Disney's partnership.

From Death Rally to Alan Wake and everything in between, we're talking about Remedy's games! Remedy has created some stories and characters that have stuck with us and kept us wanting more from them. We dive into their beginnings, some ups and downs throughout their tenure, and discuss some games at length. Bring a flashlight.

From humble beginnings in sports, to the sprawling worlds of Elder Scrolls, Bethesda has created and published a lot of memorable titles in their tenure. We decide to revisit some of our memories, newly learned facts, and what might Bethesda of the future look like.

Video game adaptations have always been hit or miss, but the Golden Axes TV show sure is something. Ocarina of Time is dropping soon and we place our bets on the future of the series from here, Marathon is getting overhauled in December, and Kingdom Hearts has finally made its way to Fortnite, for better or worse.

Part game show, part game chat; all entertainment. We have a special guest to play a game this week, and we kind of talk about mobile games. Adam doesn't get it.

Vampire Survivors dropped its newest DLC: Legacy of the Bloodmoon! (New VS stuff, same great taste) Orbitals is still a visual delight and getting great reviews, we're getting ready for Sony's 2 State of Plays today (Sept. 3), and Xbox is rolling out a Disc-to-Digital feature to help us maintain our physical libraries. Too good to be true? You decide!

Rich with story, mysteries, wonderful characters, at crazy power fantasy fulfillment, Destiny is still an excellent game to come back to. While it has had its ups and downs, it has always remained a solid game built on tight gameplay and mechanics that feel great to interact with. Have fun us on this trip down Destiny memory lane.

It's Adam's birthday today, so we're sharing the gift of an episode long thought to be lost! Remastered and ready for your ears, you get to enjoy outdated information but hey, at least the conversations are fun.

What even is a remake? How about a remaster? Even after establishing a definition, we can't get it straight. But at least the conversation was fun!

Things are changing in the gaming industry. Some good, some bad. While we speculate on what's happening and what the future might look like, we also sprinkled in a few video game facts.

It's been (another) rough week in games. Studios closing, employee layoffs, and price hike; there has been no shortage of sad news coming out of the games industry, so we discuss EULAs and $80 game codes.

We get Mike to question his sanity on this week's episode. We also go over some of the games shown off at Summer Games Fest and discuss Xbox's "reset" as they're calling it. Destiny 2 is getting its last few updates and we discuss what the future of Marathon could look like.

What's that? A new voice on the podcast? Adam and Meg sit down and talk about the Nintendo 64, take a trip down Nostalgia Lane and give some facts about the N64. All of this while Meg attempts Donkey Long 64!

Sean is back on No Man's Sky and gives his look back, Sony's State of Play showed up some games coming up, and Summer Games Fest gets kicked off. We also finally get back to some Dungeon Crawler Carl talk!

Bungie is calling it quits on content development for Destiny. We spend some time reminiscing about our time playing D1 & D2, cover our recent escapades in Absolum, and Sean reviews the Mandalorian & Grogu movie.

It has been a long time in the making, but we finally got around to discussing the Legend of Zelda games! Sean and Adam go through the series, discuss the interconnectivity of them, and what we like about them while Mike gets to learn.

With the excitement over some perceived DRM changes with Playstation, we decided to chat about DRM; What it is, why it's used, what the changes means, and so on! Here's hoping its as educational as it was fun to talk about.

Saros is releasing this week! New Street Fighter movie trailer dropped, Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced is the worst kept secret, & Starfield has been out on PS5 for a bit, now. Some noteworthy changes coming to Xbox under Asha Sharma, and a new segment- The Marathon Minute!

No Man's Sky released their 42nd update to the game, Shinobi had some DLC drop and the Mario Galaxy Movie was a movie. Nintendo had a few leaks pop up with some exciting potential, another rumor about a potential State of Play at Sony, and The Gaming Historian is hanging up his learning cap after 15 years.

We trade book club for a movie review! We went to see Project Hail Mary this weekend and discuss the movie and differences from the book. Fortnite also laid off a ton of employees, Nintendo is lowering digital game prices while Playstation is testing dynamic pricing, and Unity is still hanging around. Oh, and Vampire crawlers got a release date!

We can't stop playing Marathon! Jeff Kaplan gives a little insight behind Overwatch's lifespan and expectations from higher-ups, and also gives a look at the new game he has been involved with. Sony got hit with a lawsuit, Xbox gave the smallest of teasers on Project Helix. and not everything is an Xbox now.

Exciting news makes Sean fall out of his chair (kinda.) We go over the Pokemon reveals from the Pokemon day celebration showcase, do some book talk, and talk about the Paramount WB merger. We also hit on the state of Xbox, leadership changes, and try to predict what the next generation of gaming will look like.

Mike and Adam decided to sit down and play a little Minecraft and discuss the success its had and how it got its start.

Sean comes out of the gate fast this week. Book talk is going to be a new segment soon if we keep this up... Nintendo had a new Partner Showcase, RAM prices may have delayed Steam's Steam Machine release, and Minecraft got a couple of interesting updates. We're also getting a D&D HBO series set after Baldur's Gate 3. All that and more on this week's episode!

Haven't done one of these in a minute. Today's topic: RPGs! A genre we grew up playing and has stood the test of times, been revolutionized time and again, and has so many different flavors and additions that no two are generally alike. So that's what this is about, and discussing IGN's top 100 RPG list.
