No Man's Sky released their 42nd update to the game, Shinobi had some DLC drop and the Mario Galaxy Movie was a movie. Nintendo had a few leaks pop up with some exciting potential, another rumor about a potential State of Play at Sony, and The Gaming Historian is hanging up his learning cap after 15 years.

We trade book club for a movie review! We went to see Project Hail Mary this weekend and discuss the movie and differences from the book. Fortnite also laid off a ton of employees, Nintendo is lowering digital game prices while Playstation is testing dynamic pricing, and Unity is still hanging around. Oh, and Vampire crawlers got a release date!

We can't stop playing Marathon! Jeff Kaplan gives a little insight behind Overwatch's lifespan and expectations from higher-ups, and also gives a look at the new game he has been involved with. Sony got hit with a lawsuit, Xbox gave the smallest of teasers on Project Helix. and not everything is an Xbox now.

Nintendo had a new Partner Showcase, RAM prices may have delayed Steam's Steam Machine release, and Minecraft got a couple of interesting updates. So...Unity laid off Major Nelson after a short stint. But AGDQ raised a ton for Prevent Cancer Foundation, so that's great news! We also discuss Landcrab's pricing "philosophy," Kennedy leaving Lucasfilm, and Ron Pearlman's initial Fallout payment.,

Back to the news! 2025 Steam Award winners list is out, plus an interesting game on caught our eyes: Vital Shell! It also might be indicative of a new term here to stay in Bullet Heavens. Xbox has a new Developer Direct coming soon, Switch 2's holiday sales weren't as spectacular as seasons past, and Ubisoft shuts down Halifax Studio.

Hopefully no sleeper agents were activated after this episode. Poncle has had a busy few weeks with Vampire Survivors VR announced and partnership with Auroch to bring Warhammer Survivors. Valve revealed their new VR headset, controller, and a brand new "console" to the markets, Ubisoft cancelled their earnings call just before it started, and Death Stranding is getting an anime?

This one starts off a little different. Amazon had a massive layoff in their gaming division, some games are shutting down, or ceasing development. Halo: Campaign Evolved was revealed and is coming to Sony in 2026, Vampire Survivor's last 2 updates were revealed, and a Japan patent office rejected Pokemon's patent application.

This episode was not made with AI, but it seems as though a lot more games in the future will be. Counter-Strike 2's skin trading market got a shake up recently, Vampire Survivors and No Man's Sky are getting new updates, and there's some rumors of a new Halo game reveal. Remedy's CEO also stepped down recently and we get some news on the Assassin's Creed series.

We go from 3 to 4 (people) this episode! The United Videogame Works Union is asking for more scrutiny on the EA buyout, Saints Row's design director says GTA 6 "deserves to be $100," and Sony's pushing back on Tencent's "Light of Motiram." We also discuss photo mode in games, the RoG Ally and some of its abilities, and Nintendo's response to hackers.

Adam gives a quick run down of some news from the last week, including leaks from the Pokemon teraleak, Battlefield 6's launch over the weekend, and a look at Borderlands 4's roadmap. Destiny also continues its slow bleed of players and a long time Halo vet leaves the studio.
