Deltra and Vanessa
The Plot Sickens
The Plot Sickens is a podcast where illness meets pop culture—and nobody gets out alive (but we’ll laugh about it anyway). Hosted by Deltra and Vanessa, two friends living with metastatic breast cancer, we dissect how movies and TV portray cancer, chronic illness, and terminal diagnoses. Expect brutal honesty, dark humor, medical mayhem, and the occasional “did they really write that line?” From rolling our eyes at miracle cures to celebrating the rare moments of truth, we’re here to say what patients are actually thinking—one plot twist at a time. Let’s see how the plot... sickens.
