I was having a conversation with a close friend and we began to talk about how life was 7 years ago for my family. It was wasn’t easy and I compared to how my wife use to decorate a home and how now she decorates. Back then we did what we could with what we had and made it the best and that’s how life is. You don’t wait for tomorrow you start now in your today!

I decided to record a conversation on the beach in Tampa Florida with my buddy Connor Macdonald. We talked about..what if we didn’t take the next step in believing the the dream we always knew could happen! Take a listen and be encouraged.

Grandmother and I would have conversations that would cause me to rethink about my journey. She would say jay sometimes you have to push even when you don’t feel like it, but she also gave me her breakdown of what push meant for her and ohhhhh it helped me so much. Take a listen.

As you begin to see doors open make sure you aren’t distracted by what’s to the left or right of you in life. What I mean is, sometimes voices can hinder your journey and you begin to compare yourself to others which then dims the light that’s on the inside of you. Take a listen and be encouraged.

Someone sent me a quote saying “Heal so you don’t bleed on people who didn’t cut you” that struck me and I began to look over my own life and see where my healing journey began. Take a listen.

I wanted to take time out and reflect on the year 2020! I know I know we are so over it but there’s something to be said about how we got through it and how much we grew from it. Take a listen.

I just got back from PBS in New York doing national work for them and had to share my experience and thoughts that ran through my mind! There is so much in store for us but you have to keep going and never give up!

I wanted to get transparent and share about a time in my life where I allowed manipulation to control my dream. 9 years of nothing but then breakthrough hit me. Take a listen.

This quote hit me like a ton of bricks and I had to discuss it “When you forgive a person who isn't even sorry... that's strength” Take a listen!

Life right now is great and it’s one thing after another with opportunities. I wanted to share how I am finding the balance in taking time out for me. It’s important to not wear yourself out but pause and then keep going. Take a listen!

I find as you go along on your journey that people around you may speak into your life. Sometimes the words they speak can distract you from the dreams that are on the inside of you. You have to protect the dream God has given you! Take a listen.

Let’s talk about what a real friend is. I have had the privilege of having a few key people in my life that have inspired me to be better. It’s easy to go for the fake but it takes work to have a real friend.

I had a conversation with a guy about success. He said I’m baffled by what you’re doing today in life but you only have this amount of followers and I began to say but what I’ve been given, I give all of me to it and so much more. Take a listen.

Life sometimes brings delays and it can make you feel stuck or you end up going down trails in the mind that makes you feel a certain way. It’s important to find perspective in your delay and to hold onto HOPE! Take a listen!

Make sure you continue to cleanse the lens towards yourself. Life will throw fear, doubt, and anxiety towards you and if you aren’t careful you will begin to see yourself through that lens. You must cleanse the lens with real truth that keeps you free.
