Zach and Matt
Pretend I'm Stupid
We are Matt and Zach and we're stupid..at least we pretend to be. We take way too long to research regular everyday items and then teach each other what we learned. Things aren't always glamorous or even interesting but our curiosity gets the best of us and we spend too much time trying to understand the things we come across everyday. How do magnets work? What makes a toilet flush? What is the purpose of a marching band? All of these things and more get annoyingly researched and then explained by two very unqualified middle aged dads.

The 1985 classic time travel movie with one of the most iconic movie cars of all time in all of its 80's glory as told by two idiots. If you have not seen the movie then it would be best to not watch or listen to this first. Seriously, go watch it and then think about every decision of your life that has led to...

Enjoy the ramblings of two stupids trying to solve the world's problems as we discuss the riveting world of tires.
Episode 9: Fast Food 14.11.2022 1:31:48
Everyone eats or has eaten fast food but let's be honest, it's bad for you. Some is better than others but, in general, it probably should be avoided. That said, we love it. It is cheap (mostly) and convenient and that means it shouldn't be eaten regularly. Where did fast food begin? Probably ancient Egypt like everything else. Have listen and find out.
Episode 8: HVAC 21.10.2022 1:05:39
HVAC is a critical part of any structure and exists in everything from buildings to vehicles and even computers. The complexity of these systems is beyond Matt's or my abilities to comprehend but we talk about it like we just learned about it over the last week. We aren't always pretending; sometimes we are actually stupid. Anyway, enjoy.
Episode 7: Golf 23.09.2022 1:12:12
Golf is a staple of American tradition that anyone can play as long as they can afford it and have 4 or 5 hours of free time to spare. Where would we be without bees? Probably dead. The impact of bees in our world is amazing and vital to our survival. But honestly, this chat is not that serious. Enjoy our chat about these amazing insects but also playing cards and other unnecessary segues.
Episode 4: Mowers and Lawns 26.07.2022 1:21:13
Which came first: the mower or the lawn? Well you probably won't find the answer here. Lawns are a detriment to the environment and so are the tools used to maintain them but if my neighbor starts cutting his grass then the whole neighborhood follows suit. The ultimate American middle-class status symbol is a well manicured lawn.
Episode 3: Tattoos 11.07.2022 1:22:46
Tattoos are more mainstream than cancel culture. Where did they come from and why are they so awesome? We take a look at the history of the art form from the first tattoos discovered to the popularity of modern tattoos.
