I sat down with my colleague, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel arts and books editor Jim Higgins. He needed interview me for a future print story we do in the Sunday edition that gives readers a behind-the-scenes look into the jobs of staffers at the paper.

How do you know when you’re done? After “how long did that take?”, the knowing when your done is of the most common questions I get about my art. As an artist, I know I’m not alone. It’s a fantastic question. Especially with the kind of abstract work I create. In my first ever podcast, I help answer that with another fellow artist. My 12-year-old daughter.
