New Life on Cape Cod's weekly messages.

Social media and our current western culture all have on thing in common - they are the image makers for countless people, young and old, male and female who long to be someone else, somehwere else, anything but the nagging dispostion of being in their own skin. The Good News introduced by Jesus Christ is that there is a better option than tailoring our own image and likeness: He opened the door t...

You are not a nobody, nor are you ordinary. God created us to be extraordinary and put within us the ablity to extend a hand and be a blessing and an encouragment to those around us. If you want to see change in your world, be the catalist that God has created you to be.

In this final message on the God Who Blesses series, Stephen shares how we are to perpetuate the blessing of reconciling people back to who they were created to be in Christ. He shares four practical ways to bless people in our every day life.

In part two of this series, Stephen shares three contures that guide our understanding of blessing; who is this God that blesses, why does God bless and, Kingdom blessing.

God, the life sustainer, is the One who blesses and in turn stewards us with the responsabiblity to extend this blessing to all those around us. In part one of this series, Stephen brakes down Genesis 1:28 and what the blessing of God looks like.

In this message, Dalene looks at the spiritual journeys in the book of Genesis. We, as Christians, are called to be transformed from glory to glory into the Lord's glorious image, 2 Corinthians 3:18. God predestined us all to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, Romans 8:29. The transformation takes place when we yield to the process.

When we come up against the mysteries of God, it's the opportunity to focus our gaze upon Jesus. He reveals the Father to Us. We are called to a viable, personal relationship with the ultimate creator, through Jesus Christ, the only pathway that leads to God. We have the power and authority to make right choices and when we do it will move us forward from chaos to clarity. Follow the light and you will flourish. God's desire is for us to flourish. When you live in Christ, his peace will guide your heart and minds. Philippians 4:7

In the last two messages of this series, The Wonder of Worship, we learned about WHAT we worship and WHO we worship. In this third and final part of this series, we will learn HOW we worship.

What exactly is worship? Humans were created to worship. We have an inner longing, put there by God, to worship. Sometimes unknowingly, we can worship the wrong things which will never satisfy. In part one, Stephen covers five things that happen when we worship.

In John chapter 7 Jesus exclaims that He is the living water. In this message Stephen unpacks the further meaning to LIVING WATER and gives a Biblical perspective to the renewing and refreshing waters of God.

The world has been in crisis mode for a few years and has made hearing God's voice more difficult in the chaos. Hearing the voice of God is not dictated by our outer circumstances but by our connectedness to Him.

In part two of The Jesus of John, Stephen shows how Jesus was operating in Kairos time, operating in the bigger purposes of God, as opposed to his borthers who were functioning in kronos time, functioning in the natural sequence of events. John reveals that Jesus is not just man but also God, operating within God's salvation plan.

The book of John has a unique perspective into the life of Jesus, along with the challenges he faced and the culture he lived in. In this series, The Jesus of John, we break down John chapter 7, looking at his perspective of Jesus and take a glimps of how John reveals Jesus Christ as the Messiah, God with us.

Our redemption leads us to a revelation of who God is and who we are in Christ Jesus. With that revelation is attached a responsibility to live a lifestyle that reflects the presence of God. As much as God is God, teaching and instruction is part of his activity. Are we willing to carry the responsability as God establishes His Kingdom in our hearts.

Atheists, or non-believers, have accused Christians as being apathetic or ill-informed when it comes to looking after mother earth. Let's take a look at how Christ followers perceive nature, resources, and the earth in clear theology.

We have been doing a number of sessions over the last few weeks on the powers of the paranormal, the entrapment of the enemy, specifically, towards followers of Jesus Christ. But, we rely on Holy Spirit to lead us and guide us from the enemies schemes and things that are attached to the occult. This is part 4B, the final part of this series, "The Presence and Power of the Paranormal".

Our spiritual lives are a struggle and battle against the powers of darkness. We stand against the devil's schemes by putting on the full armor of God, Ephesians 6:10-18. In this message, Stephen walks us through each piece of the armor and gives the Biblical perspective of what Paul was talking about as he wrote Ephesians 6.

There are three characteristincs indicating involvment in the paranormal and the occult. This week we cover the third characteristic which is any attempt to gain and master power in order to manipulate or influence other people into certain activties, such as witchcraft and wicca and casting spells.

In part two of our series on the paranormal we discuss the first two marks of the occult. In todays world it is considered normal to seek guidance from a psychic or to consult a medium for personal understanding but the Bible is clear on what God says about these practices. In this message, Stephen unpacks why using these illegal gateways into the paranormal are closed and forbidden by God for our...

One of the attributes of God is that he is the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding. In this weeks podcast we talk about the difference between knowledge and wisdom and how the wisdom of God reveals His heart towards humanity.

Whats wrong with a little ghostly entertainment? Only 28 percent of church goers said they received any teachings that helped shaped their view of the supernatural world. We aim to help with that.

Surveys say 60% of evangelicals polled (State of Theology Survey - Ligonier Ministries and Lifeway Research) were confused about the Holy Spirit - believing that "the Holy Spirit is a force but is not a personal being" Macedoniansm was a fourth-century heresy that denied the full divinity or personality of the Holy Spirit; that is a heresy we challenge with Scripture.

A.W. Tozwer writes, "God perfectly knows Himself and, being the source and author of all things, it follows that He knows all that can be known.."  This week we talk about God being Omniscient and Omnipresent, all knowing and always everywhere, and the steps to help us recongize His presence in our daily lives.

Do you think you need to earn your way to God by doing good works? Pelagianism is a 5th-century heresy that has crept back into the church of today - it is a self-works salvation essentially obtained through will-power. The truth is that it is the grace of God, the unmerited favor, that brings salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
