Moon Fork

Stuff really pops off this week. The crew is pursued by the police. Lark is being framed for murder. Ohna has apparently developed a strange connection with a creature that calls itself Clive. Clinton and Mikey have a vision.

The crew tracks down the mysterious fish man who has been running around town. They learn some interesting information from him regarding an outsider in town. Mystic Mikey gets in touch with dark magic in his memories. Lark hears Ohna talking about someone named Clive. Clinton's still wearing his suave black trenchcoat. They manage to infiltrate Ted Malone's office. The plot thickens mightily.

Ruth has a feeling like a Jedi hernia. Dark forces are on the rise in Moon Fork. Ted Malone's body is found in the Valentine's walk-in freezer with a bullet through the heart. He's wearing a bigfoot costume. Sandy is arrested for the crime. The boys have to find the real killer before all hell and chop breaks loose. 

This week, Clinton, Mystic Mikey, and Lark do battle with a strange gang of costumed ne'er-do-wells. Guess who gets shot...again. And guess who straight up kills someone... You'll have to listen to find out.

Clinton, Lark, and Mystic Mikey talk to Ruth, and the conversation is revelatory. A lore dump for the ages. At the end, a new enemy appears!

Lark is taken to The Chop – this is the campaign's first glimpse of that beyond. Clinton and Mikey rush to find him along with Sheriff Dent and Ranger Anchorage. Events converge at the Moon Fork Curling Club. There's something about checkered floors. The group seeks Ruth for answers.

Clinton, Mikey, and Lark fell the crab, but it won't stop bleeding. The former two are caught in some slapstick attempts to try to abscond with the unconscious beast. Lark, who was shot in the leg during the encounter, is stolen from the hospital during his recuperation by an unlikely culprit. The plot's as thick as day-old chowder this week. You won't want to miss it.

The intrepid crew questions Anchorage Nguyen and Ohna Fellow about the Save the Fork meeting. Clinton is grumpy about Ohna's bougie bakery. Mikey just wants bread.  They track the rumors they've heard about a shady, tweed-coat-wearing Devil to the backyard of Ohna's house and get attacked by the giant crab again. It's just another day in Moon Fork.

The gang hears more about the overarching mystery from Major Gladstone. Mystic Mikey and Magic Marlene's relationship progresses at a breakneck pace. Another creature runs amok. The Save the Fork Movement is threatened before it can even mount a fight against Renfrow and Malone's development plans. Lark tries to tag a giant crab. Clinton jogs. His eyes turn orange.

Ted Malone and Turner Renfrow reveal their development plans for the town. A new security force arrives. Mystic Mikey goes on a date. Things get even weirder.

Our heroes receive a well-earned respite after their monster fight. Mystic Mikey falls ever deeper in love. Clinton is still crotchety. Lark levels up.

This week, Clinton, Mystic Mikey, and Lark go toe to toe with the massive humanoid anglerfish that bit a man in half outside Valentine's Diner. It attempts to terrorize the Harvest Festival during its scary movie night, but our heroes foil its plan. Will they be able to subdue the beast? Or will its brutal bite claim yet more victims? It's a fight to the death on Granite Lane tonight. 

Our heroes make their final preparations before their showdown with destiny. Destiny, in this case, being a man-eating fish person with gigantic, menacing teeth. Clinton visits Ruth's Costume Emporium in the northern woods of Beak's Lamp State Forest. 

Mikey, Clinton, and Lark race against the clock to try to figure out a plan to prevent a tragedy at the upcoming campy movie night under the Swales. Mikey visits the AV Club at Moon Fork HS to unravel Paige's riddle. He also maybe...falls in love? 

Paige Lark left a skeleton in her closet...well, actually, it's her locker, and the boys can't get in. Comet Lodge protesters line up at the harvest festival while Clinton, Lark, and Mikey investigate the cannery. They're caught. The monster looms. 

Our three heroes are interviewed by a disgruntled Sheriff in the middle of the night. Afterwards, they go out to investigate. A strange bloodstain outside Valentine's Diner supplements the knowledge they gain from the logbooks in their haven. Lark takes a walk with Ramone Sandia. They have a nice little chat. Enjoy this episode with tepid soup, coffee, and a day-old cruffin. You won't be sorry.

Our group of would-be monster hunters comes together at Valentine's Diner, bound by the directions of Paige Lark – Leopold's departed mother – and a strange presence that only Clinton Brooks can see in the light of a fire. They witness a creature kill a man. Moon Fork needs its Helmsfolk now more than ever.

A funeral. A strange man taking geological samples on a hill. And three individuals in town who can't seem to avoid the strangeness. Mystic Mikey, Leopold Lark, and Clinton Brooks make some tenuous introductions. Our mystery starts here.
