The Padres erased all the faith gained from series wins against the Cubs, Dodgers, and Braves by getting swept by the Rockies. This week we stat check some hot takes with surprising results, talk Xander's absence, and if the Padres will ever break through the .500 barrier.

We share our fave Padres from the last 3 series, play some trivia, and talk about what we've seen from Mike Schildt. Dare I say some signs of life and reasons for optimism...dare I?

Playoff baseball is here. The Pads need to win every series from this moment forward. This team is a conundrum and we can't decide if it's hilarious or pathetic. Machado needs to go to the Beastmode school of talking to the media, Adam joins the dark side, Ryan attempts positivity, and David shows his faith.

We try our best to figure out if the Padres have a leader. Adam contributes to an immaculate grid attempt, Ryan ends the episode on a positive note, and David doesn't think its early anymore.

Not the best. I was in a shitty mood, David and Adam were not in shitty moods and the those two things collided. Not proud of this one but hiding from an off night is a bitch move. You hear that Padres, deflecting attention away from you shitty play with catchy sound bites is a bitch move. Anyway, the next one will be better.

Are the Padres buyers or sellers at the deadline? If you want the answer listen to a different Podcast. We have no clue, but it was fun speculating about what they'll do at the deadline.

The Pads went into the Allstar break on a high note and we haven't had this much fun on an episode since the team was still above .500. The Allstar break did us some good, let's hope it does the same good for the team.

Just when we thought the Giant's series was bottom the Nationals come to town. Just when we thought the Nationals series was bottom the Pittsburgh series happens. Have the Padres reached bottom yet? Let's hope so.

This week we talk about how the Padres look like a different team and discuss if this is for-real or another false start? Adam is optimistic despite his best effort to be "cautiously optimistic". Sorry to everyone who listens, we all had some life stuff get in the way of doing the Pod but we're back and talking Pads. This week Adam crushes on scary Garry, Ryan mourns the loss of productive padres farm hands, and David finds a couple rays of sun shine. Let's go.

Padres had a great weekend in Mexico city. Has the team turned the corner or this just a high altitude short stadium tease. Adam and Ryan discuss the weekend series without real stats or good sense because David is out. David will be back later this week to be the voice of reason and common sense. After the 1-2 Cubs series Adam and Ryan look for some good, but let's be real it's ugly out there. Ryan gives a Ted talk on why Soto is overrated, shares some tinfoil hat trade theories and Adam tries really hard to be positive. Spoiler alert there isn't much good.

The Braves series was tough but it was great to see the Pads take 3-4 in AZ. Is this the start of a breakout or does the outcome not reflect the performance? Ryan compliments Blake Snell, Adam tries to defend his trivia streak, and David commits trade talk treason. Come hangout and talk Padres with us.

Padres are making it easy to lose faith.
