lactose intole·rant
As the lactose intolerant owner of a cat named Milktea, there are many things I wish to share with my late cat, whom I adopted into my life but sadly couldn't stay as long as I wished. Though he now rests somewhere above the cloud, I hope he is witty enough to find this podcast (since he's already in the cloud, I mean, easy access right?) and listen to the rants I would have told him in person. Wish you were here to witness my growth, but for now, a podcast will do. New episode every week-ish.

a night walk with the other offspring in this house 30.11.2022 37:06
I am back in the land of the free and everything has been a whirlwind, including my sleep schedule. So to take a load off of the food I've been eating and the thoughts I've been accumulating, I decided to go on a walk with my sibling. Come along with us as we roam around our neighborhood on a whim. Fair warning, the audio is recorded via my iPhone so you might hear us and the world around us. Hopi...
going to mamamoo concert, meeting noface, & dispute with mom 3 days before I fly out 22.11.2022 38:05
Just when I thought everything was peachy, something just had to go south. Last weekend, I went to see Mamamoo's last concert here in Seoul and spent some quality time with friends I haven't seen since 2017 when I ventured out for my first overseas concert. As I am swimming through post-concert depression, another conversation with mom knocked me back to base 1. Coupled with the anxiety from headi...
island retreat and a very productive pto 16.10.2022 1:18:29
I was wrong in the last podcast as I somehow have more good news to share. So much so, she's somehow longer than SNL's insensitive skit on Ned Fulmer's shameless behavior. Anyhow, my apologies for rambling on and on in this podcast. I would blame the green grapes ade but honestly, my mind is already a mess without the sugar so bear with me as I spill every little detail about my productive vacatio...

reading creepypasta from contest winner's archive: july 2022 17.09.2022 56:07
Wow. I didn't think I would miss reading stories, but here I am an hour later. So here's an unexpected entry from "disco-dingus," a story that revolves around a 6-year-old boy, his broken family, and an unlikely friend. I had so much fun reading it- but if I didn't do it justice, I highly encourage you to have a read yourself~! https://www.reddit.com/r/nosleep/comments/w6uygy/whe...

6 months is a long time. Long enough for me to lose the momentum to keep up. Here is my attempt to catch you up to speed with my life. From binge-worthy Netflix series to $378 fraud, all the way to my cat's special day, I've got some ceremonial-grade tea and she's ready to pour.
feburary recap (investing in crypto, new promotion, and MacBook Pro Max) 06.03.2022 30:32
Life is a blur and my days are blending together like a protein shake - sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe sht. Well, have a sip of my February McFlurry. From dabbling in cryptocurrency to getting the new MacBook Pro...A lot has happened and I am trying my best to keep up.

starting a new job and moving across seoul (oh I also dyed my hair) 14.12.2021 44:26
Let us pretend that I was stuck in another dimension and thus could not update for a month. Although that was not true, I am neither Peter Parker nor Keanu Reeves; I "was" stuck making some big changes in my life. From starting a new job to dyeing my hair milk tea grey, here is the "thic" update you deserved.
halloween weekend and being non-confrontational 02.11.2021 20:57
Am I one day late? Absolutely. Considering it's acceptable to blast Christmas music in November, being a day late for Halloween isn't so bad. Here is a log of what I did for Halloween and some late night thoughts on my insecurity of being non-confrontational.
homesickness and last dinner in Seoul 18.10.2021 23:00
Oh how I missed home...Living abroad sounds fun but it also gets tough when you're away from home too long. This weekend, we sent off a good friend/coworker we met here in Seoul and it's making me miss home. Well, "some" aspects of home...which led to a conversation with my mother about my future. Spoiler alert it didn't end completely well....more like semi-well.
the truth about self control 04.10.2021 11:25
We often find ourselves distracted by this busy world. Though it is true that sometimes we lack the motivation to do things, have you ever thought of the root of the problem? Yes, social media is addictive. But it could also be beneficial in moderation. So what causes us to stay off-tasked? Let's tickle our brains and have a look.
my first chuseok in korea 27.09.2021 24:25
Though it's only September and Thanksgiving in the states is quite some time away, I've got the chance to "celebrate" Korea's version of Thanksgiving - Chuseok. Luckily I was spared with 7 days to "celebrate" this holiday. So, allow me to explain how I managed to spend my first Chuseok in South Korea (with occasion commentary from Oonee).
I adopted a cat in korea 14.09.2021 34:31
Though the general consensus is that, when we adopt a pet, we are saving a life. Truth is, we are the ones being saved. As I ride out the low points of my stay here in South Korea, a cat came into our lives and turned it upside down (for good). Here is the story of how I met my second cat, 3 years after Milktea's passing. So um....Milktea can you please visit my dream now?
why I stopped posting for a month (mental health check) 05.09.2021 25:59
Life happens in good or bad ways. Seasons change, and at times it brings seasonal depression. Perhaps there isn't a solid reason that contributes to your fluctuating mental health, and I am as clueless as you are trying to make sense of this cycle that comes and goes. But I've recently gone through a period of confusion and burnout with my project and my mental health. I wanted to share my experie...
the side effects of relationship "goals" 30.07.2021 9:01
In today's day and age, we are suffocated by various standards intentionally and unintentionally imposed by social media. As a human, it is natural to follow the "herd" and subconsciously accept what is projected to us. But one size really doesn't fit all. We are all different in our own ways, and it is unhealthy trying to evaluate ourselves according to those un-universal standards. I realize I w...
I am proud of what I did this weekend 07.07.2021 34:48
Trying out new things is great, but it is always easier when you have good company. What if that isn't the case? What if you are in a foreign country and you can barely speak the language? This week, I will discuss my experience dining and filming at a restaurant in Korea by myself (for the first time). I also went on a tangent discussing the value and imbalance between money and dreams. #personal...
if the world ends today, are you happy with your life? 21.06.2021 20:35
Triggered by a YouTube video regarding a horrible nuclear meltdown, I have been thinking about the possibility of facing a natural disaster on my own. Though I hope that never happen, I was curious to see how I would evaluate my life if everything ends on this day. I know life is far from perfect for most of us, here are my two cents about my life, and where I currently stand.
how I dealt with the grief of losing a pet 16.06.2021 21:31
It never gets easier and every time hurts like the first. Dealing with death isn't a skill but rather a compromise we make with time. There are different ways to cope with loss, some heavier than others. Today, I will be unpacking some baggage I kept in the basement. Here is how I learned to cope with the loss of a beloved pet.
reading classic creepypasta: slenderman 06.06.2021 15:09
Don't look back, just don't. Today we'll be venturing into the past when "Slenderman" had caught the public's attention and lingered far longer than we'd like.
developing social anxiety in south korea 30.05.2021 21:54
Nothing is ever sunshine and rainbows 24/7, the same goes with my journey in South Korea thusfar. Today I will be sharing some insecurities I've developed during my stay here. You may judge me for it, but I'm just trying to act as pest control to remove the thought that has been bugging me.
reading classic creepypasta: noend house - brian russel 23.05.2021 1:43:54
This one, this one is a real work of horror. I wasn't expecting to read on for hours but here I am. The story of the NoEnd House challenges our mental state through a series of psychologically tormenting experiences showcased by a seemingly endless house. Tuck yourselves in, because you won't be able to do so afterward.
reading classic creepypasta: the russian sleep experiment - orangesoda 16.05.2021 21:26
It's all fun and games until we are stripped of the overlooked luxury of not being able to sleep. Here is a fictional (hopefully fictional) story written by OrangeSoda of what happened to 5 captives when they were forced to stay awake for 15 days. Now we really have to think twice before pulling any back-to-back all-nighters.
reading classic creepypasta: 1999 - camden lamont 09.05.2021 1:07:42
I started recording at 1pm and finished art 4pm...I had to take breaks in between, because this creepypasta story was no snack, but a whole freaky feast. Today, I am reading one of the infamous "creepypasta" stories on reddit written by Camden Lamont. Lock your doors, spread your sheets, close your eyes, and listen to me.
