Uncovering 3 Hidden Truths What is truth? Jesus made it clear. He said, “I am the truth. Truth is not determined by personal feelings or what makes someone feel comfortable. Truth does not change based on majority vote or popular opinion. For the first 100 years after Jesus, the church didn’t look anything like it does today. There were dozens of communities, different gospels, different teachers,...

Like we said last week, whenever Jesus speaks of power, it is almost never external, we are to focus on the unseen, internal power of God. When it was external, like calming the storms, it had an inner, spiritual. and eternal meaning. The path to awareness lies through inner stillness, silence and direct communion with the Christ in us. Jesus practiced spiritual power when he would retreat from th...

There is an expression "to awaken a sleeping giant" . It means provoking a quiet, peaceful, or passive power that has massive hidden strength, causing it to react with overwhelming force. That is what happens in us when we are awakened to the Christ within. We are going to discuss today what that looks like. 1Cor 4:20 Mirror The Kingdom of God (the dominion of the Christ life) is about an empowere...

We Have Christlike Strength   Life can bog you down. It can be difficult at times. We have all heard the scripture, I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me. Poetic Pause Pt 5 - Living Life in the NOW! The presence of God is always present. God says that the present moment is where He lives, where we find His grace, and where we must place our focus instead of worrying about tomorrow The word "now" relates to eternity by shifting our view from time as a long line to a timeless point. Eternity is not just an endless amount of future time. It is the comp...

On the road to Emaus Jesus was talking with some believers and they did not know him. He was invited to join them for dinner and something miraculous happened. Luke 24:30 Joining them at the table for supper, he took bread and blessed it and broke it, then gave it to them. 31 All at once their eyes were opened and they realized he was Jesus! Then suddenly, in a flash, Jesus vanished from before th...

We talked in earlier episodes about we are eternal beings and how...

What does it mean to be In Christ?  It is amazing how many times the Bible mentions “in Christ”, Christ in you and Christ formed in us. Without this important revelation, it is extremely impossible to have a deep, close relationship with God. Without the unity and oneness, we have with him, how can we fully understand the unconditional love of the Father? We can’t understand his love just by readi...

The Institutionalized Jesus Verses the Real Jesus Think back when you first started hearing about Jesus, there seems to be a dichotomy regarding who Jesus really is and why he was sent to earth. There is outward Jesus that walked the earth over 2 thousand years ago and mankind decided to organize a religion after him (the man-made Jesus) and we have been taught for many years about him, then there...

Faith Matters – Now faith in our everyday lives Now faith plays a vital role in shaping the way we view the world, inspiring hope, and guiding us through life's challenges. This may not be your typical discussion on faith. "Faith" is primarily a noun, but it is frequently described as a verb in theological and practical contexts, emphasizing active trust rather than just passive belief. Understanding Our Divine Nature We often underestimate how similar we are to God. The connection between God and humanity is deeper than many realize, challenging the boundaries we have accepted about ourselves. God in the Old Testament versus the Father in the New Testament Last week, we discussed the distinctions between the God portrayed in the Old Testament and the Father revealed in the New T...

The Bible has no authority on its own, it only has the authority we give it. That doesn’t mean that it doesn’t have great value, it means that it was never meant to replace our own inner guidance system. The higher calling has always been, listen within because the spirit still speaks. There is a huge difference between reading about the Jewish interpretation of God (the Law God) found in the Old...

I want to start off by saying the shaking we are going to be talking about is a very good thing. We are living in some exciting times. Disclaimer: Yes, we believe the organized, structured church system is being shaken to its core. In 2025 and today, in the United States churches are dying at the rate of 15,000 a year.  Every month over around 1,500 – 1,700 pastors are leaving ministry.  (We love...

When it comes to overcoming tests and trials, it comes down to our attitude on how we get through. Tests can make us bitter or better. Tests and trials are going to come our way, regardless of our spiritual condition and attitude. It’s how we handle them that determines how it affects us. Overcoming tests in life requires a shift in perspective. Instead of viewing difficulties as obstacles meant t...
