Horrorble Opinions

Unlike A Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge, your Horrorble hosts would never pretend that our homoerotic moments weren't intentional. We wanna see dongs represented more in horror films! If that's wrong then strip us naked in the gym shower and smack our butts with a towel while we stare at Bob Shaye in a very flattering leather outfit. I mean "oh nooo, don't do that!" Director Jack Shol...

Your Horrorble hosts are diving in for another fantastic/punishing marathon of a beloved horror franchise, A Nightmare on Elm Street. We of course start with 1984's Wes Craven classic, A Nightmare on Elm Street. Is Freddy gonna take better care of us than Jason or Michael did? Where will this first movie rank amongst the other masterpieces in the other big franchises? Latex is cool, long arms...

Horrorble Opinions tries to suck it in and wiggle on a new pair of jeans while watching SlaXX (2020), directed by Elza Kephart. There's not enough room in these bum-covers for adequate blood flow! What is your go to tv dinner? How does retail actually work? Who thinks a workforce of kittens is immoral? When does Kenny Wong get his own admiration podcast? Where should you go to plug it up? Is this...

Put on your accent modulator and have your hunting kit ready because we going to kill us a werewolf! Maybe! Eventually! That's right! Horrorble Opinions Plays Hunter: The Reckoning - The Beast of Glenkildove (2025), by William Brown. Take off your shoes let's skip on down to the old country. Ryan does voices, again, but cannot pronounce the names of any LOTR characters. Daniel is a one person show...

Three podcasters wash up on a mysterious island of fishmen and are forced by a wealthy white dude who parades around with half clothed haitians to watch a terrible movie called Screamers:  Island of the Fishmen.  Not one robot in this movie and we still miss Chuck. Join Horrorble Opinions as we birth the newest terror in vampire lore: Dr. Akula Count Orlok 2nd Vlad of His Name Doug! We play Vampire The Masquerade: Night Road, by Kyle Marquis. Alright, let's be honest. Ryan sits and listens while Daniel reads wave after wave after wave of text. In almost two hours there might only be 5 game decisions that get made. Trigger Warning: Bored. INTRO/OUTRO MUSIC "S...

Listen up class.  Today we will be learning about mine reclamation via cookies and toothpicks.  If there’s time at the end of class we might discuss 2024’s Oddity wherein a blind medium (who looks suspiciously similar to the actress that plays her sister) gets revenge for her sister’s death via supernatural means.  RIP Olin you were too pure for this world. INTRO/OUTRO MUSIC "Southern Gothic&...

Hello Horrorble Opinions runners, joggers, commuters, cookers, vacuumers, and whatever else you do when listening to us. Great news! We found out that we gained exactly one subscriber because of the Infocom plays we've been doing, so here you go! Another one! Its "Sorcerer" by Steve Meretzky (1984), released by Infocom. Daniel doesn't read all the words because keeps interrupting. Ryan gets frustr...

Horrorble Opinions is sorry. We watched Trinket Box (2023), directed by Patrycja Kepa and Acoryé White. At least we all agree on two points. One, racism bad. Two, movies should have stuff happening. This game is supposed to be for children. INTRO/OUTRO M...

Lie down and listen as your three detective hosts unravel the non erotic mystery of 1999’s The Bone Collector. Today is a very special episode devoted to equally non erotic number 1 fan Benj.

The thrilling conclusion of Horrorble Opinions visits Seattle is upon us. Join us as we attempt to discuss what exactly worked and didn't work in the finale of season 2 of the Last of Us. Hold Horrorble Opinions’ hand and let the eyeball waterworks flow as review the underappreciated The Final Girls (2015), directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson. It’s meta with heart. You’re gonna cry. There is no better way to celebrate saying "nah" to British colonialism than eating and drinking something that reminds you of freedom as Horrorble Opinions reviews I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997), directed by Jim Gillepsie. Happy Fourth of July! Unlike last year, we actually have a movie that takes place on that day. Unlike last year, Ryan. This is a classic Horrorble Opinions review where...

Horrorble Opinions presents The Last of us season 2 episode 5:  The Search for Arby’s.  Is there anything that goes with vengeance more than a delicious roast beef sandwich?  Can Kenny really not tell the difference between an asian man and an asian woman?  Was the song Jessie’s Girl written by Ellie?  Arby’s if you're reading this please carry more cherry turnovers.  You are always out every sing...

Does your goth wife dream of being ravaged by an ancient evil from the old country? Does she have a fivehead that just wont quit? Does she krump like Ceasare “Tight Eyez” Willis? If you answered yes to any or all of the above then you too might be in 2024’s totally legally distinct and not at all Dracula movie, Nosferatu by Robert Eggers. Today on Horrorble Opinions we discuss wandering fingers, consent animals, washing your hands before intimacy, Drake and Josh, and the concept of “joke” walls. Oh and the fourth episode of the Last of Us part 2. Ellie and Dina do some stuff in Seattle but more importantly THEY DON’T EVER WASH THEIR HANDS! Stop drinking that toilet water and learn how to open a watermelon along with Horrorble Opinions as we review Bloodtide (1982), directed by Richard Jeffries. Ryan did this to us and you, this is his doing! Does this movie occur on the same island as the movie The Wind? How short should your karate instructor’s shorts be? If Darth Vader starts quoting Shakespear, is that foreshadowing to a monster...

Join your favorite Horrorble Hosts as we travel from Jackson Wyoming to Seattle Washington in our search for vengeance for our sweet baby boy Joel. Along the way we discuss Kenny’s increasingly obvious lust for hunky Jesse, Ryan’s obsession with washing hands and some say that if you listen real closely you can hear Daniel start to dislike the show. INTRO/OUTRO MUSIC "Southern Gothic" Kevin MacLeo...

Horrorble Opinions goes to off world for vacation and gets knocked up by a toaster while watching Screamers: The Hunting (2009), directed by Sheldon Wilson. Do androids dream of making babies with people? Do you have glow stick envy? Have you ever seen Battlestar Galactica? You should. It’s better than this. Someone get Lance a sandwich. INTRO/OUTRO MUSIC "Southern Gothic" Kevin MacLeod (incompete...

Please join your hosts in giving Abby a well deserved “Way to go dude!” as we discuss the second episode in the second season of The Last of Us. Today on the pod Daniel hated half the episode, Kenny had to comfort a sad spouse and Ryan managed to drop some minor vague spoilers again. Remember that time we said we had a 5th movie in the Train to Busan franchise and forgot to release it? Whoops. 3 weeks later here it is. Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead. Daniel says its an American remake of Peninsula. I say, same same, but different. Will we find out what the perfect food truck would be? Will we piss off Snyder fans? Does the Blue Man Group show up? Does this movie ever end?...

Ryan and Kenny were at first very apprehensive when I told them that we would be covering The Last of Us season 2. They were even more apprehensive when I told them I wanted it done slowly. Thats right! It’s Butt Fungus and Tacos Part 2. We have swapped Kim for Ryan (who didn’t even watch season 1). Will we attempt to dive into the even more complex themes of cycles of violence, revenge and forgiv...

Throw away that useless instructional manual and just ask Horrorble Opinions about best practices when you take The Substance (2024), directed by Coralie Fargeat. Seriously? Why can’t you just follow simple instructions? Also, the kids are calling it the new spreadable jam, and it’s not what you think.
