Grasping the Word - Salvation Essentials

Jesus used the root word for exception in His teachings.  It is the word, "except."  When he used this word, he would identify a general rule, which would apply to MOST people and then revealed action that could be taken by those who would be an exception to the rule.

Pastor Mark Parker looks at the essential questions the Apostle Paul asked of the 12 disciples of John in Ephesus.  There are questions that must be asked about the salvation experience.

Nicodemus' desire to know what was true was greater than his fear of what he did not understand.  Jesus did not leave him guessing.  He made sure Nicodemus understood the new birth.

Great is used by the writer of Hebrews to describe salvation through Jesus Christ.  This podcast sheds light on this description.

Pastor takes a look at Acts chapter 10, what the angel said, what Cornelius said, what Peter said and the action taken.  The words all had to do with what MUST be done.

The question, "what shall we do?" was asked in Acts 2:37.  This same basic question is repeatedly asked throughout The Acts of the Apostles.  It is a most appropriate question and deserves a truthful answer.
