Duke Reacts!

Reacting to a WEIRD AL classic, parody of All About the Benjamins from the 1999 classic Running With Scissors. Enjoy

One of the few genuine music videos from "The Dan", they were the musical guest on the infamous Midnight Special show from the 70s, equivalent to SNL. They did two songs and I got them both in there for y'all. "Show Biz Kids" and "My Old School" are both from Steely Dan's second record Countdown to Ecstasy (amazing album title).

We got two rap heavyweights in this one, RIVERS CUOMO of Weezer and the man everyone's talking about, LIL WAYNE.

The year was 2006, the album was Busta Rhymes' THE BIG BANG. The collaboration the world was waiting for. One of these MC's was on their A-game. The other, not so much.

Southern rap classic from 2001, Slim "Cutta" Calhoun and Andre 3000. Was not expecting this kind of verse from A3K, but the 2000s were just a different time.

Banger music video from 1993, former Genesis frontman Peter Gabriel. The bass line on this one blew me away, and the video is not very subtle. He be smashing on shawty.

Stankonia by OutKast was one of my favorite rap albums in high school, loved every track on there especially this one. Bombs Over Baghdad was something else. We need to bring Andre 3000 back to hip-hop for real.

A lost gem from back in 2020, from Brooklyn's own RA The Rugged Man. Rugged Man was beefing with Lil Yachty around 2017, so I was curious to see what kind of bars he came with. This is an authentic first listen, I only glanced over the video when it dropped in early 2020.

We're analyzing this purely from a performance perspective. Diddy and Friends absolutely brought the house down at the VMAs in 2002. I'm completely OK if you want to cancel my channel for reacting to this, but we are going there for y'all. Featuring special guests Busta Rhymes, Usher, Ginuwine, Frank Zappa, and an aerial aerobics troupe.

Shout to the Majestic Twelve, a little known indie rock band from NC in the 2000s. Digging up a gem from the 2006 record "Schiziophrenology". I used to work for an indie rock label and this was my favorite band that I got to work with. Shout to M12 down in Wilmington.

DISCLAIMER: This reaction covers topics and visuals that might be sensitive for some viewers. But we are going there today, with special guest Funko FZ. It's Yachty and Weezy, nuff said. Enjoy DukesMusic (Alvin Sane)

Shout to Big Buss, ain't nobody gonna cancel this legend. Busta is on my Mt. Rushmore of rap and that is set in stone. Still got love for the OG.

Filmed live on vacation, unearthing a lost gem from 1973 from the one and only Jobriath, the first openly gay artist signed by a major level. This was I'm A Man from his widely praised debut album, performed live on the Midnight Special.

Doing Ratchet Happy Birthday and a partial reaction to Don't Matter To Me (feat. Michael Jackson) off the Scorpion album. Drizzy got a brass pair to get the King of Pop on his album. This is an audio only reaction.

The D will always have a place in my rock canon. It doesn't matter if they got cancelled, I will always enjoy this movie and their first two albums.

Underrated synth-driven banger from 1980 off the Duke album by Genesis. Didn't realize this record was named after my reaction channel, thanks for the shout Phil!

Classic Weird Al in the style of SPARKS, Virus Alert! off WAY's 2006 masterpiece Straight Outta Lynwood. With reaction support from the Funko-Lytes, Lennon & Zappa. Enjoy!

Classic collab from 2019, LOGIC got the GOAT EMINEM on there. And needless to say he got more than he bargained for. Y'all done awoke a sleeping giant with this new album "The Death of Slim Shady"

Taraji surprised a lot of people when she did the POP OUT concert for They Not Like Us at the BET Awards. This is perhaps the most surprising version of this song that I've heard.

Another Britpop classic video from 1996, Suede's The Beautiful Ones. Got support on this one from the Funko-Lytes: our old friend Frank Zappa and some bloke named John Lennon. This video is a very literal interpretation of the song's lyrics.

Travis Barker of Blink-182 got some real killas for this one, got a Murderer's Row of hip-hop: Busta Rhymes, Twista, Yelawolf and LIL' JON. YEAH.

Possible surprise sneak diss of a rapper in this classic Impractical Jokers skit. These guys have created some of the funniest TV clips of the last decade. This was one of their best ones, enjoy.

Rare collab, album cut from Chris Brown's X-Files mixtape from 2013, reunion of the dynamic duo that created the international smash "Look At Me Now". As always Chris Brown brought out the best in Busta Buss.

The year was 1984, the place was Southern California. A band called Autograph broke out of the L.A. scene in a big way, this was one of the early music videos on heavy rotation on MTV. Enjoy

Got two of the realest OG's in the building today, new one with Ghostface of Wu-Tang and Nas from Queensbridge. Frank Zappa had to sit this one out he's taking care of something up there. But if you want him back let us know in the comments.
