This episode oulines the goal I set for the podcast: an audtitory commonplace book, as well as the reasons behind it, including continuous learning, intentionality, and growth. As this podcast is largely filtered through the len of books and reading, there is also some discussion of the material I plan to cover in the coming episodes.

In this episode, I discuss the recent impetus to slow down my brain and reduce my cognitive load by engaging with fiction books, outside the confines of technology. I also share an update on a long term reading project, of Stephen King's The Dark Tower , that I am nearing completion on.
