This week I roll up my sleeves, crack my knuckles, and jump into the fighting ring with a really awful PS1 fighter based on the very wrong type of property for this sort of game by a company who damn well should have known better. Iron and Blood: Warriors of Ravenloft, we need to talk...

My thoughts on the follow-up to Nightmare Creatures . We dig through the ditches and burn through the witches of Nightmare Creatures II on the PlayStation 1. Swing your axe, do-cee-do, lookout London, here we go!

My thoughts on Nightmare Creatures on the PlayStation 1. Bloodborne before Bloodborne was a thing. I so very much want this game to come back.

My thoughts on Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver on the PlayStation 1. The game, the character, and the weapon are all named the same thing - and that's just the start of the confusion in this game. But this is still a classic gem!

My thoughts on perhaps the best written vampire video game made in the '90s, Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain on the PlayStation 1.

My thoughts on Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare on PlayStation 1. Controversial author, shlock director, Resident Evil influences and a quote from a dead rock star. What more could you want in a horror game review?

My thoughts on Mega Man Legends for the PlayStation 1. Quirky side story? Yes. Full of tropes and anachronisms? Definitely. Fun? Absolutely. Will we see it's like again? Not if Capcom has anything to say about it... and they do.

My thoughts on the original Resident Evil 2 on the PlayStation 1. There was an incident, in a mansion... and now here we are, hip deep in the dead.

Welcome to Season 2, everyone!

My thoughts on Castlevania: Symphony of the Night on PlayStation 1. But enough text, have at you!

What do BloodRayne and The Blair Witch Project have in common? Not a Shin Megami Tensei game, that's for sure! My thoughts on a very different Nocturne for the PC.

My thoughts on Vampire: the Masquerade: Redemption on PC. Let's all follow pissed-off Christoph on his 700 year path of revenge!

Oh boy. Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness, we need to talk...

My thoughts on the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on the N64. Time manipulation, game appreciation and life lessons with the efforts of a group of half-drunk college friends.

My thoughts on Splatterhouse 2 on the Sega Genesis. Musings on learning how to survive this horror.

My thoughts of brawler genre classic Streets of Rage 2 on the Sega Genesis. Sometimes, we must choose violence.

My thoughts on Final Fantasy VI (née III) on the SNES. An epic of the 16-bit era. Watch out for the octopus!

My thoughts on Final Fantasy IV (nee II) on the SNES. This is why I play RPGs, thanks to Canada.

My thoughts on Secret of Mana on the SNES. A toast to the middle children and continuity confusion.

My thoughts on Chrono Trigger for the SNES. A not-so-simple chronophobia.

My thoughts on SimCity on the SNES. Term limits should really be a thing, folks.

My thoughts on Super Metroid on the SNES. Aliens the video game, Japanese style, before it was cool!

My thoughts on The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past on the SNES. Come embrace the Gospel of Link into your life!

My thoughts on Super Castlevania IV for the SNES. Vampire hunting in the Mode 7 dimension!

My thoughts on ActRaiser on the SNES. God versus the Devil for the soul of The Sims.
