Crappy Anime Showdown

Imagine a world where Vince Giligan was writing a show about an everyday school teacher turned pharmacist in which the main character Walter was only trying to help people. Then imagine that staring you in the face was the entire plot of Breaking bad but it was in the subtext. That is what we had the privilege of watching this week. Well that a a huge pile of generic trash in which all the worlds...

Season 5 is somehow here folks!! I don't which ones of you keep asking for this or in that same vein which of you keep supporting terrible anime so that it constantly gets made but I am imploring you too stop! Ok please don't actually do that. Until the day all bad anime is removed from this earth we will be your vanguard slowly make our way through the slop to bring you only the finest commentary...

I do not believe that I could articulate how incredibly bad and fun our bonus anime, Record of Ragnarok, is. Oh wait, I literally do that in this episode. Pay me no mind, as my brain has become addled with bad anime syndrome and sometimes I lose my self in needlessly oversized boobs and perverted MC's. I think I may need help, but in the mean time I will try the old hair of the dog trick where I n...

The Rundown has commenced!! It is time to talk trash on all the....well trash. Does any anime avoid our or are they all equally guilty of being a blight on humanity? whispers they are all guilty! Nonetheless it is a whale of a time picking through each terrible plot and vile subplot so please take off your shoes and get comfortable.

Bottom of the 9th, down by 2 with 2 men on, two outs and a full count! The batter steps back into the box for what could be the final at bat of the season!! here is the wind up and the pitch!!! Wait a minute, it looks like last minute three benchwarmers jumped in to the box to try and hit the homerun!! Will any of them succeed? Will anyone truly care about this baseball analogy? One of those answe...

This is it! The moment you all have waited for!!! The entire season has culminated to this finale!!! And what will this finale reap you may ask!!! Well besides a champion and an end to this ridiculous season, and some absolutely absurd anime moments, not too much. To be honest though if you are asking for more than that you are a little greedy and I like the cut of your jib. We will do better ever...

Disappointed and it feels so good!! Disappointed and it's understood!!!! Well at least by one of these anime! The other delivers an obscene amount of hilarious quotable moments. (That last sentence was sarcasm and overhype but with a kernel of truth) Prepare yourself to be lambasted by all that is wrong with anime that promises to be interesting!

A common theme of this anime is constantly getting our hopes up after watching 3 episodes only to be thunder punched right in our starry eyed faces. I would like to proudly say that we keep that tradition alive this week!!! I am not saying we do not deserve this treatment, I am just saying it is nice not being right all the time. Anyway, 86 and Full dive sure are treats to watch regardless, so enj...

5 6 7 8 the style is great so we masterb... Wait a minute. I am not gonna stoop to those levels in these descriptions, even if these anime stoop lower on a weekly basis. In any case what a riveting matchup we have this week. Full dive brings the isekai genre to life with a hilariously bad plot. While Seven knights makes us question if fantasy mangaka writers even care anymore.

Do any of you remember watching Gladiator and just being so impressed by the way that Russell Crowe gently glided in a circle for 2h 40min and th4en handily defeated his rival in 5min with just enough time for credits to roll? No? Well then you should check out Cestvs because it will show you what you missed! And if that isn't your cup of tea hopefully I can entice you with Loli-dolls fighting Sha...

Imagine pretty. Imagine boys. Imagine being a detective. These were the ingredients to make a wonderful anime. That is until the studio accidentally removed all the plot!!! And thus Pretty Boy Detective Club was born. And what a void it truly is. On the other Mars Red is like a Barbie doll. It does not matter what the theme is because underneath it is just boring plastic model with too high of exp...

Have you ever watched Saving Private Ryan and thought that it would have been better if war was made to look cool?! Or have you seen JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and truly believed the buff men and posing were the only important aspects of the show? Well then you certainly are going to love the anime in this weeks episode. You will not, however, enjoy our reviews of them most likely. Listen at your ow...

Grab your bingo cards, grab your hate mail and hold on to your waifu pillows because season 4 is finally here!! WE get right down to business as we draft the 8 anime combatants who will go boob to boob in what will ultimately be a very crappy showdown. This season seems to have some great contenders, but only time will tell how good they truly are!

B-b-b-bonus battle! The worlds most popular MOBA is being turned into an anime and it takes on....hold on in getting word that DOTA is not the number one MOBA even though its predecessors ripped it off. Well regardless DOTA# Dragons Blood will be taking on the isekai battle royal, Highrise: Invasion. This will for sure be a battle for the ages, brought to you, but not sponsored by, Netflix.

Sundown Rundown baby!!! the third installment of everyone's second favorite episode of each season. We got pretentious drivel. We got bad writing galore! We even have the biggest selection of Kemonos this side of Tokyo! Come on down to Crappy Anime Emporium today for 50 percent off fun! And I do mean 50 percent worse not cheaper!

Our producer has sent me many emails stressing the importance of the following message. I am to tell you "CAS is in no way shape or form currently sponsored by any one or multiple telecom corporations, no matter what may be implied in the episode." And to be honest I do not know if they would after this crazy episode. The finals is exactly what we all hoped it would be. So sit back relax and enter...

In 2006, Jon Lovitz, Jon Heder, David Spade and Rob Schneider teamed up a terrible baseball movie about 2 awful players who need a ringer to help them win their games. This week is the anime version of that as we take a look at 2 atrocious and boring anime that are hard carried by one that is clearly better. Listen as we take a look to see if any of these would have been better candidates than the...

What a heavyweight bought we have today ladies and gentleman! A semifinal for the ages as the USMC in all its glory tries to murder little girls in the strangest creepypasta I have ever seen. Taking them on will be mythological magical tattoo laden hot men in a story whose story makes almost as little sense as its animation! Both of these anime are worth watching in full but only one will survive...

Imagine a world where if there were more than 6 people in a room, everyone after the sixth was 2D. Now imagine a world in which everyone collected children as if they were Pokémon. Which world is most enticing to you, and remember one of those answers gets you thrown in prison. If you are having trouble deciding just based on those parameters(again prison is on the line) then have a listen to this...

What do you get when you cross ginormous boobs with tasteless suicide? Wonder Egg Priority! rimshot That wasn't really a joke at all, which unfortunately is an indicator of the anime itself. However, it goes up against the Oliver Twist of Shonen, Kemono Jihen in which everything is Kemono and no one is bothered by a middle aged man collecting children. What a world we live in. Enjoy.

This week we have Gurrenn Lagann vs...no wait that's not right. We have Promare...nope that's not it either. Kill la Kill? Hold on let me check. Oh yeah here it is! We have the Triggeresque masterpiece Back Arrow taking on the yuri version of Stranger Things, Otherside Picnic. If that sounds fun to you then buckle up because this week is a blast!

After a brief scolding from my producer, i am now back to caring about your opinion of our podcast. We genuinely hope that an anime about hot boys and rapidly and nauseatingly shifting landscapes in 3D will blow your mind. Then there is the ever prevalent perv Isekai full of parental sexual conquests and very unfortunate mishandling of other sexual situations. We really really hope you enjoy this...

This description will be written at the request of Ethan who says i shouldn't care what other people think about our podcast. clears throat This week's podcast features top of the line 3D animation against a story about boys finding each other that happens to be set in a surfers world. If that isn't up your alley well I couldn't care less if I tried. In fact you can shove your opinion right up you...

Alright let's see what is on the menu for this season. checks notes: an anime whose plot is revealed by the one minute mark? Another Isekai!?!?! An anime that isn't gay enough?!?! What does that even mean? Alright who is picking these anime? Oh right, it's us. Well I just hope you guys enjoy this!

Could it be? Is it really true!! Yes it is folks!! On this weeks episode we talk about an anime we actually enjoy!!! Neo-Yokio is a masterpiece for all to behold and we invite you to come take a listen as to why we believe you should watch it!
