I know it is a year later, but I had the most amazing opportunity to do a women's panel in Houston, Texas at Comicpalooza. To do something like this in my home state was such an honor. We spoke about Star Wars, misogyny in podcasting, banned books, and domestic violence. These women are incredible so please go support their podcasts.

Hello my little bookworms, I am back with another book review about Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin. I will highlight the author, say couple of quotes, and give you a synopsis of the book. I will also relate my own personal experiences to a common cliche problem that is happening like in this book. So enjoy!

I am doing my first book review like I promised in my first episode. It is not your normal book review. This is more personable. We are going to review the author, the author's history, a quote from the book or author, promote the author's other books, and ask how it relates to your life. It was originally on my list but it has come to my attention that Houston Independent School District has recently decided libraries and librarians are not important anymore. I discuss why it is a bad idea with statistics to prove why libraries are important, the history of libraries in the US and the world and presidential libraries.
