What if everything you've been chasing—the medals, the money, the social ladder—was actually pulling you further from the life you were made for? Pastor Joel opens with a disarming honesty, tracing his own journey from Costco general manager making six figures to a man whose trophies collected dust on forgotten shelves, ultimately finding that all his earthly climbing led to emptiness. Drawing fro...

What if the good things you're doing are actually working against you? Pastor Drew unpacks Matthew 6, revealing how Jesus warned that doing the right things for the wrong reasons can be just as dangerous as sin itself. Through giving, prayer, and fasting, Jesus exposes a hidden trap: performing faith for an audience instead of living it for the Father. The secret place—where no one watches—is wher...

What if the Christianity you've known is actually nothing like what Jesus preached? Pastor Drew unveils a stunning contrast: the Old Testament closes with the word *curse*, yet Jesus opens his greatest sermon by proclaiming *blessing*—makarios—for the spiritually bankrupt, the rebels, the ones with nothing to offer. Through Matthew 5, Drew reveals that Jesus didn't come to lower God's standards bu...

What if the people closest to you are actually shaping who you're becoming more than you realize? Pastor Drew reveals how God never intended us to navigate life alone—even before sin entered the world, isolation was the first thing declared "not good." Through practical wisdom from 1 Corinthians 13, he unpacks how biblical love isn't just a feeling but a set of behaviors: patience, kindness, and c...

What if the pressure to fit in was actually God's invitation to stand apart? Three teenage boys faced King Nebuchadnezzar's blazing furnace rather than bow to his golden statue—choosing faithfulness over fitting in, even when death seemed certain. Pastor JD challenges students to examine their own "golden statues"—popularity, sports, image, success—and asks the hard question: what would it take fo...

Have you ever wondered what happens when life's storms hit without warning? Pastor Drew reveals that two builders heard Jesus' words—but when identical storms struck, only one house remained standing while the other collapsed with "a great crash." The difference wasn't in their knowledge or church attendance, but in their foundation: one built on obedience, the other on sand. Through personal stor...

What if the secret to healthier relationships isn't demanding more from others but surrendering more of yourself to Jesus? Pastor Drew unpacks how Paul's prison letter to the Colossians reveals that true relational transformation happens when we stop "stealing other people's mail"—obsessing over what others owe us—and start focusing on our own Christ-like response. From marriage and family dynamic...

What if the very things you're trying so hard to achieve are already yours in Christ? Pastor Drew reveals how the Colossians were caught between worldly approval and religious performance—both making them the center instead of Jesus. Like Drew's honest confession about achievement addiction, Paul's letter cuts through spiritual scoreboard living to declare a liberating truth: your...
