Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) is a statuary body established in 1986, under the APEDA act, 1985 by the Government of India. APEDA plays a significant role in promoting and developing the export of India's Agricultural and Processed Food Products ensuring Quality Control and certifications, product and infrastructure development, market access as well as training and capacity building of farmers, producers including Farmer producer Companies (FPC) / Farmer Producer Organizations (FPO) and Exporters.
