#KamenRiderBlackRX #KamenRider #Toei #Tokusatsu #MaskedRider Kamen Rider Black RX marked the end of the Showa Era rider shows even with respect to Shin, ZO, and J which came later. In many ways, Black RX was an inspiration of what we would get from future Kamen Rider shows starting with Kamen Rider Kuuga. And also it was an actual sequel series to a previous Kamen Rider season which was a big deal...

#TheAccountant2 #BenAffleck #JonBernthal  Definitely don't think anyone saw this movie coming. The first film was good enough in its own way that it told a engaging story but you never came away thinking it would manifest into a franchise. But hey, Hollywood is always trying to franchise every movie so here we are with The Accountant 2. Overall its a fine film but its not the type of film you're r...

You wanted a get away but instead you have to save Mars from an evil corporation that controls the air! Get your ass to Mars!

#Thunderbolts #MarvelStudios #Marvel #Disney #MarvelComics So post-Endgame, the concensus with folks on the MCU is that its a mixed bag. Way more often than not, the vibes from folks end up being grossly overexagerrated than need be. Thunderbolts since it was first announced at SDCC, was a big question mark for folks based on the characters that were involved especially later on when the casting f...

The 4th installment and the soft rebooth. But with more action shenanigans and two guys that like each other a whole lot.

#Sinners #RyanCoogler #MichaelBJordan #BlackHorror  Sinners is a movie with grand ambitions and Coogler delivers on it top to bottom. While the advertising might give off big tentpole vibes, the reality is that this film fits in the mid-budget range and it works perfectly. This is a movie that isn't trying throw constant action moments in your face. This is a film that builds up to those action be...

A story about overcoming the odds, training hard, and fighting for more than pride but for love. It's also about watching your World Champion brother be crippled and they leave him to rot on a Bangkok street corner. Yeah, Kickboxer is a wild film that's mainly about Muay Thai. But ignore all that and enjoy the 80's action!

#KamenRider #KamenRiderHibiki #Tokusatsu #Toku  Kamen Rider Hibiki stands out amongst the other Kamen Rider shows especially during Heisei Era Rider shows. From the Kamen Rider designs down to the enemies, this show initially stood out as being very unique. But in typical business, the show ended up pivoting into a different direction that was in line with previous rider shows. What you end up wit...

3BG are back at full power for this one. In a giant sized episode, the critics talk about a movie special to many blacks. Django Unchained may be the best slave movie of all time. And with that orange guys in the white house right now, this review is very illuminating.

The Program was the gritty 90's football movie that was breaking many rules of college sport movies. Showing drug use, corruption and high stakes college administrative business! The was also shined a light on subjects the world wasn't fully ready/educated about when it came out. Don't worry, Cj and Dee are to talk about it!

Do The Right Thing is one of the most important films ever made. It is the story of a hot day in Brooklyn that dives into race relations, community love, and just regular people having a regular day. The movie was great then and is still great now.

Many folks had trepidations about this film given the background, thankfully Brave New World is a solid watch. From solidifying Sam Wilson as Captain America with confidence to the Winter Soldier'esque Political thriller vibes, it's a very entertaining watch. It addresses story beats from MCU movies of the past in a way that doesn't deviate from the story it's telling. Definitely see this film. Yo...

Black History Month deserves HIGH Black Cinema. This week it's A Soldier's Story. It's a movie every black military has seen at least once. A film that tackles Racism, Black Self-Hate, Colorism, the treatment of black soldiers in the Jim Crow South, and what it's like to see yourself in a position of power for the first time. This a Black All-Star movie and it isn't talked about enough.

The mind is a terrible thing to waste or to be toyed with. This movie has split up fans for years and has a bigger following. Martin Scorsese directs another amazing movie that's actually out of his wheelhouse. Psychological Thriller that is heavily metaphoric and symbolic. It tells you the answer and you'll still question what is real.  Originally recorded (10/24/2024)

PARTY TIME! EXCELLENT! It is the most successful SNL spinoff of all time. It's been a long time coming with this movie and us. We talk about Mike Myers, Tia Carrere, Dana Carvey having a Scottie Pippen deal, Rob Lowe being Rob Lowe, Rock music, and madness.

We begin 2025 with Metal Gear! The 4th game will go down as the one people didn't like but is probably the most protected by the fans. It was a game Kojima didn't want to make but made it because he loved us so much. A game that looks gorgeous and the gameplay is like a dream but overshadowed by nearly 9 hours of cutscenes. A game that answered all of the questions, and I mean ALL of them! A game...

RIP Maggie Smith (Originally recorded August 29, 2024)

#Dracula #Nosferatu #Horror  A remake of the 1922 film, Nosferatu is a movie that nails horror noir vibes of the original film top the bottom. Bill Skarsgård is unrecognizable as the Count and he really builds on the characters motivations as he's psychically stalks Lily Rose-Depp's character of Ellen. Great cinematography, great performance, brooding music that matches the films vibes. Definitely...
