As the teacher in Ecclesiastes continues to search for the source of fulfillment, he explores success and recognition. The pursuit of more will never fulfill because it is an endless pursuit. There is always more to gain.

In the third chapter of Ecclesiastes, the teacher examines the idea of control. We see that God is sovereign over the seasons of life and we can trust that He is the one that is fully in control.

As the teacher begins his search for fulfillment in life, he tests the void within him with pleasure. He explores the good gifts God has given us and finds that good gifts cannot take the place of God Himself.

As we begin our journey through the book of Ecclesiastes, we are introduced to the Preacher and taken on a journey with him. We see that life is not meaningless and that true and lasting fulfillment can only be found in Jesus.

As we conclude our summer in prayer, we look at the prayers in Revelation 4 and look at what worship truly means. Let us use these models of prayer as a tool to truly worship and express our adoration to the Lord.

As we conclude our series on prayer and our study through Habakkuk, we come to Habakkuk's final response to God. Though he has heard horrible news and though he doesn't fully understand God's plan, he chooses to praise God. Even if everything around us seems wrong, we can rejoice in the Lord. And if we believe that, we can pray with confidence.

As we see God's second response to Habakkuk, we see that God is sovereign, just, holy, and supreme. Prayer is recognizing who God is and seeing how great our God is.

As we see Habakkuk respond back to God, we see the prophet faithfully question God and faithfully wait on God's response. Prayer requires the patience to trust God's timing over my own.

As we continue our study through the book of Habakkuk, looking at what we can learn about prayer, we see that prayer is not about getting God to do our will, but it is about aligning ourselves with God's will. Though we may not always fully understand God's will, we know that we can trust God's will because of what Jesus accomplished on the cross.

As we continue our summer studying prayer, we start studying through the book of Habakkuk. We see Habakkuk honestly crying out to God, bring his honest and raw emotions before the Lord. We see that God can handle our big questions and that if we want to have a rich prayer life, prayer required honesty.

As we continue our series on prayer, we ask the question, where should we begin? To begin having a rich prayer life, we need to learn to be still and be with Jesus.

What do we do when we're struggling to pray or lack the desire? Our struggle to pray reveals what we believe about God. Strength to pray doesn't come from ourselves, it comes from the Spirit.

As we begin our series entitled "Pray Without Ceasing", we start by looking at what prayer actually is. Many of us have a misunderstand about what prayer is and we have to clarify our understanding of prayer if we want to have a rich a full prayer life.

At Church Around the Table, Lake Springs Church and Esperanza Church came together to worship, pray, and eat together in a day of unity and community.

As we conclude our study through the book of Ephesians, Paul gives us a sobering look at the reality of the enemy that we face. We can remain alert and prepared if we put on the armor of God and continually pray for perseverance.

As we continue to study Ephesians, we see further implications of the mutual submission taking place within Christian households. Through these instructions, we can learn to better lead our households as we care for and submit to one another.

Paul gives us a new vision for marriages as we see how we, as believers, are instructed to submit to one another. Marriage is meant to point to the New Creation, when all things are made new and made whole.

As we continue our study through Ephesians, we see Paul give two examples that we can follow. We can follow the self-giving love of Christ or the self-serving love of the world. Which example will we choose to follow?

As we continue our study through Ephesians, we see Paul's instruction to take off the old self to put on the new. If we are in Christ, we have been made a new creation and we are to live into that new identity rather than continuing to live in our old clothes.

In this joint bilingual service with Lake Springs Church and Esperanza Church, we look at unity within the church as we spend time in worship and prayer together.

As we continue our study through Ephesians, we see Paul's prayer for the church. We can use this as a model to pray for ourselves and those around us, to grow in spiritual maturity and to be formed more into the likeness of Christ.

God's wisdom is revealed through the unity that can be found within the church. When formerly separated people come together, God's wisdom is on display. All peoples have been brought into one family under King Jesus.

Regardless of where we come from or who we are, our first allegiance is to the Kingdom of Heaven under the Kingship of Christ.

We were dead in our trespasses and sins, but God, by his mercy, love, and grace, gives us new life in him. The question for us is how will we respond to this gift from God?

As we continue our journey through Ephesians, we see Paul's prayer for the church. As we read Paul's prayer, we should think, 'what does God want to do for me?'
