Our 250th movie review is a special one. We dive deep into 'There’s Something About Mary,' from the zipper scene and “7‑minute abs” to Brett Favre cameos and creepy suitors, asking the important question- does this Farrelly Brothers classic still works in 2026. We are kicking off our Month of Love in peak ’90s fashion.   On today’s brand new episode, we debate Heath Ledger’s early heartthrob status, gush over that insane stadium high school and the marching-band serenade, dig into the movie’s feminist angles, pile on praise for Larry Miller, and float a wild fan theory that Patrick Verona grows up to be The Dark Knight’s Joker.  Join us for a review of 1...

This is a very special brunch episode. Camden Griffith hosts an episode where we get to play a game called 'Never Stop Blowing Up' which allows Mike, Sean and AJ to enter the world of 'Roadhouse' and play out the story they way we would like to do it. It's a TTRPG or a game similar to DND and it's a really fun time. Enjoy! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

This movie is somehow one of the most emotionally sincere movies ever made about time travel.   It was one of those low expectation, sneaky good comedies of the 2000s that you likely skipped at first because of the title.  When you finally gave it a shot, it blew your expectations out of the water.   It explores the dangers of resigned complacency and revisiting nostalgia and we are wondering if i...

8 years after the success of the original movie, they decided to make a sequel and we are left with more questions than answers.   First question- Why?  More questions- Did Babe Ruth die and become The Tooth Fairy?  Why didn’t they kill off Charlie’s character after the disastrous acting performance in 1994?  Who is actually in charge of writing ‘the list’ because it sure ain’t Santa Clause?  Why...
